Manik and Nandini had started their journey towards the doctor and Nandini was resting keeping her head on his shoulder holding his one hand with her hands.Manik looked at her worriedly and pecked her head."Don't worry Mani I m fine."Nandini said and Manik smiled faintly while mummering a 'hmm' to her.Soon they reached the hospital and went in the doctor's cabin as there were not many patients.

The doctor greeted them and Nandini said everything while the doctor took her in for the tests and Manik sat their worriedly.After sometime doctor and Nandini came and doctor said "the reports will be there with u till tomorrow u can come and take it."Manik and Nandini nodded."And yaa u have weakness so I will prescribe some vitamins take them on time and also don't exert urself much."Doctor informed and Manik Nandini muttering an okay went home.

"Nandini I always tell don't stress urself pr tumhe kya tum toh Nandini Malhotra ho na.U never care.Doctor ne kaha u r weak.Maine itne saare servants yuhi nahi rakhe hai.Humesha tum kyu krti ho?Ek toh ghar ka itna saara kaam upar se office phir Nia ko sambhalna.I m telling u agar tumhe kuch ho gaya na toh mai nahi jee paunga.Samjhi tum.Mai mar jaunga tumhare bina."Manik expressed as soon as they were in their room.His eyes shedding tears.

Manik was someone who could not express much but when he did it would either come out as his anger or he will so vulnerable.He had always looked at Nandini,she was always a happy go lucky chubby,bubbly,and carefree girl.She would enjoy her life's every bit.He was not used to see Nandini ill.She came as a light in his life and now if something happens to her he will not be able to look at himself.What would he answer to Raman,Ishita,Abhi?He would be ashamed of humself.He always warns her not to work this much,but still she being a active child would always do work.

Nandini cupped his cheek with tears in her eyes and hugged him.This man had given her everything.This man had loved her so muchhhh.She was lucky.He was shedding tears for her just bcoz she was ill.

Manik hugged her back with all his might and both laid on the bed with Nandini on top of him.Nandini looked up and kissed his forehead."Ssshhh.I will never leave u.Never ever.Mai yahi hu.Ok mai kuch nahi krungi.I will be on the bed till u say.I m here.Ssshhhh.Manan are together forever and humesha."Nandini said everything carassing his cheek and Manik just kept looking at her with tears.He made her lie down and covered her with blanket.

He kissed her head and sat beside her carassing her hair.Nandini held his hand and entwined it."Manik u r missing maa right?"Nandini asked out of nowhere and Manik avoided looking at her."No..I m not tumse kisne kaha?Tum bhi na Jaan chalo so jayo."Manik said trying to cover up but whom he was fooling.

"Mani tum mujhse jhoot nahi bol sakte."Nandini said and tears made their way out of Manik's eyes again.

He didn't knew what was happening today?He was being vulnerable.What Nandini said was true.First Nandini becoming ill and top of it he was missing Rohini.He had always shared the most special bond with his mother.Even in their initial days of love and marriage Manik had never ignored Rohini.He had always kept her his first priority near to Nandini.He would daily go and talk to Rohini at night but now she was not there to listen his worries.To whom he should go?

"Manikk."Nandini called out extending her hands and Manik immediately hugged her sobbing like a child.Nandini carassed his hair and after sometime he stopped but still the tears were continuously coming from his eyes."Just call her na."Nandini suggested and Manik quickly took his phone and dialed her number.She picked it on her third ring.

"Haa Manik bolo beta?"And listening her voice tears again came."Maa."He called out with heavy voice and Rohini frowned."Manik kya hua bacchha tu ro raha hai kya?"Rohini asked quickly understanding his voice."Nahi maa bas aise hi thoda gala kharab hai.Aap kaisi hai?"Manik said clearing his throat and Nandini she'd tears with him."Nahi Manik dekh tu mujhse jhoot nahi bol sakta hai.Kya hua bacchha bol na?"Rohini asked and Manik smiled.She was his mother she could understand even if he was far away from her.

"I miss u Maa.Please aap jaldi aajao.I miss u."Manik said with his voice turning heavier and heavier.Rohini felt her eyelids getting heavy."Manik sun mera bacchha mai aa jaungi thik hai.Tu ro mat na thik hai maa jaldi tumhare saath hogi."Rohini said explaining him like a child and Manik finally smiled."I love u maa aur haa shayad Nandini pregnant hai.Hum doctor ke pass gaye the unhone kaha reports kal tak aa jayenge."Manik said and Rohini beamed with happiness.Soon Manik kept the call and looked down to see Nandini sleeping peacefully.

Just leaving his mother for a month, Manik's condition was this what would Nandini be going through.Manik thought and kissed her head once again and calling Abhi he informed him to drop Naisha back.He came down and ordered the servants to make lunch and himself sat in the living room watching football match on the TV.

After sometime Abhi dropped Naisha and Manik and Naisha played together for sometime.
