Chapter 44 - Amusement park pt. 2

Counting how much I love you

Now, hand in hand, Yunho and Rory walked around in the amusement park, the biggest smiles on their faces. 

"Are you hungry?", Yunho asked and pointed to a stand selling various food. As soon as Rory nodded, they went there. At first Rory wanted to pay herself, but Yunho insisted on paying. 

"Well, then I'm gonna pay for dessert later, okay?" 

Yunho chuckled at her stubbornness and they continued walking, happily eating their food. While eating they talked about their plans for the day. 

"To be honest, I'm not that eager to go on a roller coaster. We've tried so many already.", Rory admitted. 

"I'm glad you say that. If you want we can try out different food types, I heard many countries are selling their national cuisine."

"And we can tr-", Rory started but as they turned around a corner she spotted her brother walking directly towards them, Jisung and Changbin on his side. As soon as Changbin spotted the both of them, he tried to distract Chan. 

In the meantime Yunho had seen them as well and pulled Rory in the opposite direction. The both of them went into another street and Yunho spotted an arcade building, pulling Rory with him. 

"Sorry for the sudden run.", Rory said and rubbed her neck in embarrassment. "I just didn't want my brother to ruin our date." 

Yunho sighed, relieved Rory was feeling the same about that topic. "I feel the same. Don't get me wrong your brother is really nice but he seems scary." 

"I'm so lucky Wonbin already likes me. But I'm sure Chan and my parents will like you, as my boyfriend, as well. How could they not?" 

A bright red shade appeared on Yunho's cheeks and he completely ignored Rory's other words. "Boyfriend?" 

Rory flinched, only realizing her mistake now. It had felt so normal to walk around with Yunho she forgot they weren't even in a relationship. Yet. "Well, I mean, I already confessed to you. And you kinda did as well. So now we're dating and that usually means being together, right?" 

"You can call me anything you like. I'd love calling you my girlfriend as well. I'd just like us to take some time. I've never been in a relationship before, so I don't want to mess up anything." 

"I understand that.", Rory said, being glad he wanted to take it slow as well. "And I'm sure you won't mess up." 

"How could you know?" 

Rory winked at Yunho. "Trust me. I'm sure of it." Just with this simple action and sentence Rory saw the effect she had on Yunho. The smile on his face grew wider and his ears turned red. He tried to hide his laugh with his hand but Rory quickly intertwined their fingers just so she could see it. "Don't hide your laugh. It's beautiful." 

"How am I supposed to live when you make my heart go crazy all the time?", Yunho asked in a whisper, more to himself than to Rory but she still heard it. 

"I could ask you that as well." 

Now, two hours later, the group had reunited in front of a big building. Wooyoung had insisted even Yunho and Rory had to come, ruining their wonderful time alone. Still, the both of them were in a good mood so Wooyoung didn't have to worry about getting disappointed looks from them.
