<<SHOTO WAIT, PLEASE>> I run behind him in the hallway, hoping I saw right and he is in fact in our common room. <<I apologize, Akisame, but I really am not in the mood for talking right now>> he immediately starts as soon as I enter the room and I stop to catch my breath, damn all those training hours surely did not help with my stamina. <<Mhm...ok then>> I turn around and leave him in the room to go buy some snacks and tea from the little shoos out here full of trashy food and screaming kids, what a beautiful day.

Then I go back to Todoroki, that is now sitting on the floor with his back leaning on the wall, when he hears me walk in again he starts again. <<Akisame I said I was not->>

<<Well I'm not talking, you are, I'm just here to relax and eat, wanna join? In silence of course>> I smile at him and I go sit next to him, putting the snacks and tea between us so he can get what he likes, I start looking at the empty side of the room thinking about the most random things while mister mic's monologues about the festival and a few screams from the public interrupt our silence now and then.

We stay like this for a good ten minutes that I use also for thinking about a technique to use against Tokoyami since I'm the next on the field. <<He's too impulsive and doesn't know how to control or acti without dark shadow>> Todoroki's soothing voice makes me zoom in again and I turn my head to him confused. <<huh? >>

<<Tokoyami, I know you've been paired with him, and you're next so you're probably thinking of a strategy, he counts on dark shadow's force and speed...so->>

<<It's okay don't worry, sometimes silence is better than words>> I smile at him and two seconds after Mister Mic announces the winner of the two that just fought, meaning that me and Tokoyami are next. Irony of the fate we also have similar quirks so it's gonna be a very interesting encounter.

I stand up swallowing my fear and anxiety and I get out the room walking faster down the hallway Todoroki's right next to me, just his presence calms me down, his aura is capable of draining the anxiety out of the air and honestly I really needed it.

We have to separate ways now, I go on the ring and he goes on the stands on the side of the ring, I smile at him trying to calm down and then I look at Midoriya who's already writing at full speed on his notebook.

I look then at one last person, Bakugo, arms crossed and a deep stare into my soul, I try to smile at him but he doesn't move one muscle and I feel his gaze on me even when I turn around to look at Tokoyami, waiting for mister mic's start.
