Chapter 6 – Confused

*Niall's POV*

I just sat there on the bench just thinking about what just happened. Why did she just leave? Was it a bad kiss? Doesn't she like me? What went wrong?! All these question spinning in my head. So I decided to leave it and go back inside to everyone else and forget about it.  

Everyone was talking and having a laugh, well apart from Harry, who was on his phone texting his girlfriend Taylor. All of the guy have girlfriends apart from me, I have always said I'm going to wait for my princess. And when I thought I'd finally found her, she leaves.  

"Hey Niall, where did Sam go?" Perrie asked noticing that she was missing.  

"Oh she had to go" I said trying to hide my feelings.  

"Did she get scared away by one of our farts?" Louis teased, they all laugh.  

Really annoyed "No she had to go because she has school in the morning" I lied  

Usually, I love Louis' jokes but now wasn't the time and I wouldn't lie either but I didn't want embarrass myself. First girl I really like in long time and I scared her away, not good. But instead of wondering what I did wrong I decided to enjoy the rest of the evening, this was one of the few times the boys and their girlfriends could get together like this. So they were making the most of it.

Everyone had gone, apart from Harry who was outside in the garden on the phone to his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, and she lives in American. I don't know how he can handle a long distance; I know I wouldn't be able to. Then Harry finally came back in. 

"Where did everyone go?" He asked.  

"They all left, you know you've been on the phone for an hour" I told him.  

"Oh, we just had a lot to talk about" Harry said, he seemed upset.  

"About what" I asked, concerned. 

"Let's just say it led to me and Taylor talking about breaking up" he said even more upset.  

"Oh sorry man, what happened?" I asked.  

"She just didn't trust me and wanted to go see but I told I had to stay in London, so she said we should break up" he explained "but I convinced her not to ended it" 

"Cool” I said, he looked upset, “are you guys going to be alright?”

"Yeah it’ll be fine it’ll work out" he said trying to hide his emotions "what about you and your girl, Sam? Why did she leave?"  

"Like I said earlier, she has sixth form tomorrow and had to go" I lied.  

"Niall you know you're a terrible liar" Harry saw right through my lie "what really happened?" 

"Ok fine! We were in the garden, talking and looking at the sky. It was all very romantic with the stars and stuff." I explained "then I lean in for a kiss and she kisses me back, it was all good. But then..."  

"But then what?" Harry asked.  

"But then she pulls away and says she has to go and leave" I say remembering the tonight's event.  

"Maybe she's Cinderella and had to leave before her clothes turns to rags." Harry teased.  

"Oh shut up!" I said annoyed, I knew if I told him he'd tease me.  

"I'm joking man, I bet everything is ok and she just had to go." Harry reassured me.  

"I hope so mate, I hope so..." I said worried.
