Chapter 14
*Sam’s POV*
Me & Jamie were dancing everything was fine, we were having fun. But then Jamie was cold to me, well he was cold most of the time, to most people, but not to me. Then I caught him looking at Niall who was looking at us and talking to Yasmin.
Jamie said into ear, “he’s staring at you, hope you’re happy together” he didn’t seem happy about it at all then he stormed off, so being the concerned girlfriend I am I followed him. He went up to one of the spare rooms; he was just standing at the window staring out of it. “Hey Grumpy,” I joked going over to his side, “you know you’re not allowed to be up here, Sophie would flip.” I turned his face to look at, “what’s wrong?” I asked.
He pushed my hand from his face and moved away from me, “you know exactly what’s wrong,” he responded, “he is wrong.”
I knew exactly who he was talking about but I just pretended to play dumb, “who?” I questioned.
But he saw right threw me, he knew exactly what I was playing at, “please don’t play dumb with me Sam, I know you better than anyone,” which was very true, he was one of my closest friends before we started dating, “why did you invite him Sam?” Jamie asked looking me dead in the eyes.
“Why not? He’s my friend,” I added.
“Friend? You hardly know him, what you’ve known him 5, 6 days?” Jamie said.
How did he know this? I never told him that, “who told you that?” I asked.
“Stefan”
Zsa zsa! I should’ve known, that girl keeps nothing from her boyfriend which is usually quite cute but in this case very inconvenient because Stefan was Jamie’s best friend. I wonder what else she’s told him.
“Now you’re acting like you’ve known him all your life and getting all friendly with him,” Jamie added, “he might as well be your boyfriend.”
“But you’re my boyfriend, Niall is just a new friend that I’m getting to know,” I explained.
“Just a friend?” Jamie questioned, “what about that romantic kissed you shared?”
Darn it Zsa zsa! Couldn’t have you kept that to yourself, I thought to myself. “That was before you were officially my boyfriend and anyway it didn’t mean anything,” I tried to make him see that it was innocent, he came closer towards “I caught you kissing that girl last week and I didn’t get jealous, so Jamie you’re my boyfriend not Niall and I care about you and…” Then he cut me off mid sentence with a kiss which took me by surprise, he then pulled away, “I love you Sam”, he said and I was shocked, he caught me off guard. “I love you, I was jealous because I love you, I couldn’t stand the idea of you kissing another guy and let my jealously get the better of me,” he explained, “you don’t have to say I love you back, but I just want to you know that I’m in love with you.”
I didn’t know what to say, what do you say went someone tell you they love you, “thank you…?” I just responded. Jamie just chuckled and put his arm around me then led me downstairs.
When we got downstairs, Zsa zsa and Stefan were standing at the bottom of the stairs, so we went to them. “Hey guy,” I greeted them, “Zsa zsa can I speak to you?” I asked taking her to one side after kissing Jamie and sending him and Stefan to hang out with the others.
“Hey what’s up?” Zsa zsa asked “what did you want to talk about?” So without saying anything I just gave her hug. “Thank you so much!” I said hugging her.
“What for?” she questioned, I let go of her.
“Thank you for telling Stefan about mine and Niall’s kiss.”
“Oh sorry about that,” she apologized.
“Don’t be! Stefan told Jamie and I explained everything to him and all in all, he told me he loves me!!” I said excited and girly.
“OH MY GOD!!!” Zsa zsa exclaimed, “WHEN!?”
“Shhh keep your voice down,” I hushed her, “just now when we were upstairs.”
He loves me! He actually loves me! Wow!
