Chapter 3 – The Friends

*Sam's POV*

I was leaving class, so took my phone out to see if I had any messages. I had one text and it was from Niall.  

It said,

"Hey, I just wanted to let you know I had a fun with you today, lets meet up again sometime :) Niall x”

It made me feel all warm and happy to read that text. I was just smiling down at my phone reading it over and over again in my head, in my own little bubble.  

But then two of my best friends Zsa Zsa and Tyler jumped on me from behind.  

"What's make you so smiley girlie?" Zsa Zsa asked. 

Then Taylor grabbed my phone and read the text. 

"Oooh! It's a boy!" she teased.  

I snatched my phone back.  

"Oh! Be quiet Tyler!" I laughed.  

"Who's the lucky guy then?" Zsa Zsa asked.  

"His name is Niall" I said as we walked out of school. Jess & Yasmin were waiting for us out the gates.  

"Guess what?!" Tyler asked Jess & Yasmin sounding excited "Sam went and got herself a guy!" 

"I haven't went and got myself a guy, I just met him" I explain "you make it sound like I just went to the shop and bought him" I laughed.  

"Well what's his name and how did you meet!? Spill all the details!" Yasmin asked eagerly.  

"His name is Niall Horan, he's 19, blonde, and Irish and we ran into each other on my way to the library" I told them.  

"Wait a minute isn't there a blonde, Irish one named Niall in One Direction?" Jess asked.  

"Yeah that's right! Sam... Is your new boyfriend Niall from One Direction?" Tyler asked jokily teasing.  

"One he isn't my boyfriend and two it is Niall from One Direction" I said.  

And they all went silent in shock.  

"WHAAT?!!" they all shouted in unison.  

"Yeah, well that's what he said, I didn't actually really recognize him" I explained.  

Then my phone went off saying I had a text. It was from Niall. It said,

"Hey Sam, I'm having a get together with the boys and stuff, and they really want to meet you. So why don't you come tonight? 8pm? I'll call you and tell you my address. Niall :) xx"

I couldn't help but smile at my phone  

"Who's the text from?" Yasmin asked.  

"Niall..." I said still feeling all bubbly about the text.  

The girls made me read it out loud.  

"OMG! We've only got 3 hours to get you ready!" Zsa Zsa exclaimed "we better get you to my place quick!"

We got to Zsa Zsa's house; her mum was out at work so we had the place to ourselves. We were planning to have a sleepover, but I guess I was gonna miss the party if I was going to Niall's.  

"So.... What should you wear?" Zsa Zsa asked opening her wardrobe.  

So I grabbed out a pair of skinny black jeans, a vest top and a hoodie. 

"A big no no!" Zsa Zsa said shaking her head "you're going to meet One Direction not going skate boarding."  

So instead I picked out her sparkly gold dress.  

"An even bigger no no!" Zsa Zsa said shaking her head once more "you want to look good but look cool like it was effort less."  

I couldn't see what the big fuss was it wasn't like I was meeting the Queen or something.  

So then Zsa Zsa picked my outfit out for me:  

A cream shirt with a black bow, dark blue skinny jeans, a black blazer with rolled up sleeves and black high heel ankle boots. Also for my accessories she added big gold studs; I think bracelet watch and a red purse. Then Jess did my makeup, mascara, eyeliner, light eye shadow and red lipstick. Then Yasmin, straight my thick curly hair and did it in a very neat bun. (A/N Sam's outfit is on the left)

My look was pretty simple but definitely way more feminine than I usually dress.  

"Our mission is complete!" Zsa Zsa said proudly "and with time to spare too!" 

It was 7:30pm and I was ready to go!  

"Babes, if this doesn't make Niall wanna ask you out now I don't know what will?" Tyler said.  

I laughed, I really did look good and I loved it! But I just hope I'll be able to impress Niall's friends and that he'll like it too.
