Niyati's POV

Goosebumps

Fluttering of heart

Churning of stomach

Cheeky smile without any reason

I feel like I am floating.

What is wrong with me?

Even the grumpy Abhijay seems tolerable and unable to stop me from smiling. It's as if the day gets over as soon as I get up. Everything, I mean, everything seems so colorful and nice.

It's been a week since me and Shaurya had that.....that encounter? That moment?

I don't know what that was but it changed something within us. I can't exactly express it, I have never been good at it. But I know something's changed.

And Shaurya?

That man makes my heart beat faster just by being around. I try. I swear I try to act as normal as possible when he is around but....

He has changed too. And those smirks!!!

What is with hot guys and smirks?

No no no!! I am not saying he is hot.

Oh who am I kidding? This is my diary so I think I can confess that I find him hot and handsome, and tempting. Not that I will ever confess in front of him and boost his ego more, so that he can give me more smirks. They have increased a lot now a days.

The very next day of the incident, he smirked five times. Do you wanna know? I just can't get that day out of my head.

I had woken up as usual and decided to make breakfast before getting ready for the office. The moment I stepped out of my room I collided with him. He was all sweaty and all shirtless. I am sure Ashu would have said OMG. But really OMG.

He is really really fit. I couldn't take my eyes off the lines on his stomach. I don't know what those are called but I think Ashu once called them six pack abs when Shahrukh Khan did it for a movie. I never paid attention then so I don't know if they are the same. But Shaurya's definitely look good.

I was literally drooling....till I saw his face.

One eyebrow raised and a smirk pasted on his face.

What did I do next? Dropping my head down, I made a beeline towards the kitchen. But I am sure I heard something like ' It's all for you' from him and that's when I ran.

That was smirk number one.

For breakfast I made simple poha. Yogi wasn't so happy about it. She wanted chole bhature but then I can't go back in time and soak the chole, can I? Although I did soak it then and promised to make them for dinner. She was more than happy. Not that she ate less poha. She was the first one to start and was still at it even when we all had finished. When does she go to college?

Anyways, breakfast. That's when I was given smirk number two.

I was as usual sitting beside Shaurya having my breakfast when he asked for tea. Usually Yogi is the one serving everyone but she was too engrossed in putting sev above her plate of poha as if leaving a spot was going to change the taste. So I handed him his cup and I am pretty sure he purposely brushed his fingers against mine.

No. That's not when he smirked.

He asked for fruit and I went to check in the kitchen which one we had. I don't know why Yogi was so engrossed in poha today. She wasn't even looking anywhere else, as if there are monkeys lurking around who will snatch her plate. What was wrong with her? Anyways, I was checking for fruits inside the fridge and Mr. Smirk made his appearance.
