Hermione slowly blinked her eyes as she gazed up into the starry sky. She shook her head as she felt the bitter cold wind brushing her fur. She pushed herself up on her wobbly wolf legs. She moved her limbs around to get rid of the tension in her muscles. Hermione raised her head up towards the moon before she felt this strange need to go off somewhere. She found herself running through the forest, feeling more alive than she had felt all her life. She ran deeper and deeper into the woods, enjoying the feel of the wind running through her fur.
She was rounding a large oak tree when she heard a loud howl, which caused her entire form to freeze right where it stood. Hermione didn't know how but she knew that howl came from Fenrir. She whimpered when she heard the sound of a twig snap just a few feet away from her. Her body positioned itself into an attacking stance, her canines exposed as she lightly growled as a warning to whoever was out there. It felt like hours till finally something came jumping out of the bushes. She jumped out of the way when she saw it was another werewolf circling around her.
Hermione growled at the silver werewolf that began to make its way towards her. She barked at the werewolf, snapping her teeth at its neck. The werewolf growled back as it took a swing at her. She ducked from the swing before locking her jaw onto his front paw. The werewolf howled in pain as it flung her up in the air and tossed her across the ground. Hermione whimpered while she rolled to a halt against a large tree. While she attempted to get back onto her legs, the werewolf began to slowly crawl over to her.
It was about to jump onto her, jaws ready to rip her to shreds when he was shoved to the side. Hermione perked her ears as she gaze up to see another werewolf, whose fur was a pitch black color, nearly ripping the other to shreds. The werewolf slammed the silver werewolf against the ground a couple of times, almost breaking its skull, before he flung the werewolf to the side. The silver werewolf whimpered in pain before it rushed off to get away from them. Hermione was able to get to her feet when she felt something pushing her back to the ground.
She peered up to see the werewolf leaning over her with its paws pressing against her. Hermione locked eyes with the werewolf's eyes. It was then she realized that the werewolf was Scabior. Scabior laid beside Hermione as he began to lightly lick her muzzle then her ears. Even though part of her wanted to get away from him, another part wanted to stay and allow him to keep doing what he was doing to her. In the end, the wolf side won and she laid there and allowed him to continue licking her ears. Hermione found herself then licking onto Scabior's paws then moved up to his muzzle. She listened to him lightly purred before he buried his head into her neck, his tail wrapping with her own. She laid her paws on top of Scabior's paws as she closed her eyes and fell asleep alongside him.
