Hermione didn't understand why but she had a dreadful feeling about this night. She could sense there was something about to happen. She didn't know if it was because of her heighten senses since of the full moon and it was picking up something she had no clue about. She walked through the corridors unable to sleep from the feeling of this need to be alert about something. Her ears were perked as they stood listening to whatever odd thing came its way. She turned a corner when her eyes widen. She could smell something familiar. Her entire body shivered knowing exactly who the scent belong to.
She followed behind the smell trying to find him, to tell him to leave the castle and to never show his face around her again. Of course, she felt part of her was going to have a hard time to tell Fenrir to stay out of her life. She reached down a corridor near the Astronomy Tower when a bright green light flashed across the sky. She was going to go find out what it was when the sound of footsteps came into her ears. She turned her head to find Draco and other Death Eaters running down the hallway with a bunch of sicken grins plastered on their face with Snape walking in front of them.
Hermione shook her head in confusion as she reached out to grab her wand in an attempt to stop them from leaving since she felt they had done something horrible. After all, Death Eaters wouldn't be here without any reason. However, the moment she lifted her wand, she felt it be torn from her hand. She turned around till she saw Fenrir standing right in front of her. Her eyes locked with his and she felt herself wanting to run into his arms. She had to fight that part down, which was easier said than done as she started to back away from him. In a blink of an eye, Fenrir grabbed hold of her arms and began dragging her down the hallway.
"Get off me! Fenrir, let me go!" Hermione screamed as she tried to struggle against his restraints. However, it was like she was fighting against Devil's Snare. Worse, Fenrir was able to tighten his grip on her body to limit her to a useless squirming. Hermione darted her head around to find someone to help her as they hurried into the Great Hall. She watched as Bellatrix went breaking everything in sight. They went down the courtyard down the path towards Hagrid's hut.
"Hagrid," Hermione heard Bellatrix scream out. Her eyes widened as they near Hagrid's hut.
"Snape! He trusted you!" Hermione peered over her shoulder to see Harry running after them. Her attention was drifted away when a loud whooshing sound caused her to turn her head to see Bellatrix causing Hagrid's hut to burst into flames.
"NO! Hagrid!" Hermione screamed, trying to run towards the hut. Fenrir's grip however prevented her from being able to even break from his hold. He lifted her up in his arms, bridal style, and carried her off into the dark forest while she kept screaming out for Hagrid. She didn't know what happen but the next thing she knew, something hit the back of her head.
