Chapter 9- Roy

"Sir! there is a urgent telegraph for you at the head office. Cornell Yaung wants you to report there immediately, with no delay" said Hawkeye saluting as i stood.
I nodded and moved out of the tent towards the main building.

Once there I knocked on the Cornell's office and waited. "Enter" came the bellowing voice and i entered to find him on the phone, his face white with fear and worry. "Roy please sit." he said indicating to one of the seats in front of his Desk. I sat fear creeping into my body.

"Roy, have u read the letter addressed from Amy?" he asked folding his hands together. I nodded and began to play with my thumbs. "Ye, but i cant reply, i dont know how to...I was writing as i was called to you...." Yaung nodded and motioned for his guard to leave the room. The guard left clicking the door shut.

"Roy, at 13:35 yesterday afternoon, your boyfriend Edward Elric attempted to take him own life, he was found by both Amy and Al as they both went to your house to drop of groceries. They found him in the bath, pills littered around the floor. He is alive, and well. However he has taken a large does of acetaminophen, therefore he has been hospitalized and sanctioned."

I fell from the chair, my body numb. "Why? why did he feel the need to leave me? does he think i no longer love him? I thought we were gonna spend an "Flamed eternity" with each other...what about Maes?" I screamed into the floor, not caring who saw or heard. I pulled at my hair, writhing around on the floor, my cries became screams as it sunk in what Ed had really tried to accomplish..."My boyfriend tried to take his own life....My boyfriend tried to..." I couldn't finish the painful words.  I began to gag, voit daring to enter my mouth. I gagged and gagged until the sobbing turned into hiccups and my breath became slightly shallow...
I hit the floor with my fists, i screamed and screamed sobs lunging through my body. Tears feel on to the tent floor making a patter like sound and my cries were heard through out the camp.

"Why did he do it? where is Maes?" I asked looking and the Cornell. He looked at me gravely and spoke "Roy, Maes is with Amy, he is ok..however shaken up. Roy, one more thing.
Edward was found with an adoption form in his back pocket, the father was labelled as you, and it was a small 2 year od called Nina...does that mean anything to you?" he asked.

I gasped as i realized. "Ed has always wanted a young girl and call her Nina...he must have done it so that if he died (like he planned to) i would have something of his to remember him by...."
The Cornell nodded and spoke once more "Very well...Nina is due to move into your house tomorrow morning..."
I recoiled in shock as he stood and opened the door. "No need to ask for leave...Hawkeye is already packing your stuff as we speak"

ROY IS COMING HOME! ROY IS COMING HOME!!
I completely and utterly LOVED writing this chapter purley because...ROY IS COMING HOME, AND ED HAS ADOPTED A GIRL CALLED NINA (the feels, the feels the FEEELS! *dies in a corner*)
