It was a simple day, the sun was shining brightly touching my pale skin. It's nothing new, the town was always been crowded, the people are happy here and everything was fine until.....

"THIEF!"

Yeah, situation like this aren't uncontrollable. I look to were a woman shout and spotted a man running away with a bag on his hand.

I immediately ran after him, putting peace in our Kingdom is my job. Being the town protector was not an easy job, especially when the rebels are using weapon? Yeah, it's kinda hard to bring them down.

I ran to the crowded people making sure I wouldn't lost sight of the thief, all he do is ran and push people away. Heh, this one is easy to catch.

Turning left to a small alley, this path is a shortcut and I'll be able to catch the thief if I used this way.

Seeing the crowded road again I notice they're looking at their back, I smile noticing they're eying some scene. Just in time I manage to get out from the small alley the thief arrive as well I quickly jump at him and the both of us stumble at the road.

I pin him down making sure he can't ran off.

"Having a tough day, mate?"

Instead of answering me he just move there and here, I slam his face to the ground which make him stop moving and groan iin pain.

That's when the soldiers came. Sometimes I hate the Kingdom soldier, don't get me wrong they're the best of the best, but in this kind of situation....nah they lack in chasing. Yet they're better in fighting.

"Thank you for catching this man Nami"

Most of the people here knew me, it's not that I'm making my name to be famous, I'm just doing my job and they just see me as their hero of many situations.

I let go of the thief and stand up dusting my clothes. They grab the thief and bow to me and left. They bowed to me not because I'm some kind of a royalty, which is I'm not, it's just a sign of respect on our Kingdom.

I sigh and continue on my morning walk of the town. Looking for many varieties of things and foods sell on the street. I grab one apple and give my coin to the seller.

"Having a wonderful morning Nami?"

"So far, so good Miss Hiraki"

I wave at her and turn to my left where a bunch of musicians are. I like this part of the town, many musicians are here to perform their different talents. And many kids are here to, playing, dancing, even singing along.

"Did you know? The council didn't get any news of the king for 30 days now"

"Where did you get that information?"

"My sister's husband work at the castle, he heard from the councils"

I stayed at my place listening to this two woman at my back. They're talking about the King....

"Shhh, someone might hear you"

I turned around to them, as soon as they noticed me looking at them they immediately walk away.

What was that all about? The king was missing for 30 days? I mean the whole Kingdom knew about the King on a deadly mission. But what do they mean about the council didn't get news of him for 30 days?

The cloud turn darker and darker as it roar above us. Its looks like it will rain any minute now. The people are slowly returning back to their houses before the rain would fall.

I watch the heavy rain fall to our wooden window. Who knows it will rain when the sun was shining brightly then it unexpectedly rain.

"Here, drink this hot cocoa my dear"

Grandma handed me a cup which I gratefully take it. Since infant, it was my grandma who take cares of me. Papa died in a war and Mama died when giving birth of me. I was unlucky, but thankfully grandma was there to protect the innocent me from the world. Now, I'm the one who's going to protect her.

"Thank you, Naynay"

"What's the matter dear? Why are you staring at the window? You'll get hit by a lighting, go on get warm"

Even now I'm old enough, she always thought of me as a baby.

"I'm ok Naynay"

"Are you sure? Its look likes something is troubling you. What is it dear?"

She always sees inside me. That's what I love her for, she is a sweet, caring, loving and an understanding woman.

I sigh before answering her.

"I heard that the council doesn't have any news about the King Naynay"

"The King? Oh my, what if something happen to the King?"

I always admired the bravery of the King, he was my role model and the reason why I become strong. But Naynay is old, I can't let her worried for something.

"Its ok Naynay, I just heard it at the town, what if it's not true? Don't worry"

As if I'm going to believe my own words, what if its true? What would we do?
