It's already night and the sky had no stars. How I miss looking at the stars at night, it gives me peace and time to think about life.
"Wow, the cookies makes me feel more alive and energetic"
Usuin said while jumping up and down, stretching his hand and neck.
"That's the poison starting to eat your body"
He just laugh and I notice that the wisp is losing it's light.
"What's happening?"
Usuin look at me confused.
"What? What do you mean?"
"The wisp, it's light is fading away"
The shadows are aggressively banging itself to the barrier as the barrier cracks. Oh no.
"Let's go!"
We ran still following the wisp. When the wisp suddenly disappear.
"Light the torch!"
Usuin grab the stick on his bag, and started to fire it. But it won't sparkle up. I start helping but it's no use.
The shadows are running towards us, as I panicked. In a split of time I feel the shadows in front of us, and Usuin just hugged me like he was protecting me from the shadow.
I closed my eyes, this is it. Where gonna die here.
When suddenly a light made my eyes open. A man standing in front of us folding a torch drove the shadows away.
Usuin and I look around as the shadows are moaning angrily because they couldn't come any closer because of the light.
"That was close no?"
The man in front of us said, as I look at him. My eyes widen and I immediately bended my knees as I bow down to him. As so as Usuin.
"My faithful King, thank you for saving us"
The King laugh, and walk infront of us.
"That's not necessary Legion Nami"
I look at him, he remembers me. I smile and bow my head again. He told us not to do it, but we stay still.
"Now, now. Stand up and face your King, that's an order"
We immediately stand up and face him.
"My Lord, we are her-"
He stop me from talking as he look around.
"It's not safe here, follow me"
We followed the King to this creepy forest, and from the distance we saw a small house on the top of a tree.
That's amazing.
We climb a stairs before we get to the house. As the King blow the fire in his torch and put all of his stuffs to the table.
"Now tell me, why are you in the woods this time of the night?"
"We've been sent to look for the King my Lord, and we are ready to serve you in destroying the gem of Jutso Kingdom to stop this mess"
The King nodded and drink a water.
"And who is this man here?"
Usuin bowed and introduced his self.
"I am Usuin Vemsko, and I was put to be an undercover spy by Council Hiromi my Lord"
"Ah, the loyal eye of Hiromi I see"
There was a silence between the three of us when I dicided to speak.
"My Lord, I would like to properly thank you for saving us back in the woods"
I bowed to him as I put my fist on my chest as a sign of respect.
"A beautiful wisp caught my attention, I followed it but it suddenly disappear. And I found you two, it's quiet rare finding me here. You must be very brave to encounter all the monster on your way here"
"With the cooperation and teamwork, we manage to defeat every monsters on our way my Lord. And the person who lead us to you is non other than the creature of Jutso. Aase the creature of mountains. It's her wisp that help us to find you my Lord."
I explain to him as he nodded.
"Ah, Aase. The beauty and the destroyer of mountains. I've read her story through a book made by our ancestors"
He grab a book from a shelf and turn from pages to pages until he stop.
"I've never met her, but says she is a kind hearted spirit"
"Yes she is My Lord"
The King smiled and put his book away.
"Good thing you're here, I really need your help by breaking a wall in the east so we can move forward to our quest"
I blink in confused.
"Pardon, My Lord?"
"You said you're ready to serve your King at any times. And I am too old in breaking walls no?"
I stood up firm, as I put my fist on my chest.
"Yes, My Lord"
"Don't be too polite Legion Nami, try to relax a little bit more"
Yeah
Usuin whispered through my ears, as I glare at him.
"With all due respect my Lord, how did you built this house at the top of this tree?"
Usuin ask.
"Oh, it's already been built. I don't know whoever build this but I thank that person because this house made me safe"
The King look at us in a serious expression.
"We leave on the first light, ready yourselves"
Usuin and I answered Yes, My Lord in unison.
