"What now!?"

I shouted at Usuin then look at the beast right behind us, if we don't to anything we'd be dead any minute now. That thing is enormous, no wonder the lookers stop coming back.

"You distract the beast"

"What!? Why me you idiot? If you want me to be dead just tell me!"

"Trust me!"

I look at him and gulp.

"Tell me the plan first"

"Distract the beast for a minute, and you see that?......."

I look to where he was pointing, it was a cliff.

"Just come back to this spot"

I can't believe he made me a bait to this monster, whatever he had in mind must work, and if it didn't I'd be sure to kill him in his sleep.

Hesitating I nod at him as he run to the other side.

"Hey! Come at me"

The monster look at me and roared, my horse and I turn around to distract the monster. I look at the monster and my eyes widen when he pick a big rock and throw to my direction.

I was about to turn the horse to another path when the rock hit the horse's feet. We stumble and I fall hard on the ground, without any second I stand up and quickly hide on the nearest tree.

Holding my bow tightly I breath heavily, the place is dark, I can't tell weither its day or night. But I'm sure we leave the Kingdom noon.

I close my eyes when the monster's roared echo the whole place. I shouldn't be acting cowardly right now, I peek a little and saw the monster walking towards to where I am.

I sigh and put an arrow at my bow as I aim for his chest. I shoot the arrow and it didn't even scratch the monster.

"Damn it"

My hand was shaking as I put another arrow at my bow, the raging inside my chest wasn't helping at all.

I aimed it to its shoulder and gladly the arrow hit it, the monster roared angrily and look at my direction, he ran and I quickly hide to another tree.

I flinch as he reap the tree on where I was hiding. How did he manage to know I was there, I grab an arrow and stab it to his feet. This should be a great opportunity to ran back to Usuin.

I didn't even mind the sharp twigs that hit my skin as I ran back, the monster slam its fist to the ground and I stumble down to the impact. I was frozen in my place when the monsters walk towards me.

You need to move!

The monster raised his fist, so this is how I'm going to die? How pity. I hide to my arm, ready to be crash by the monster's fist when I heard Usuin.

"Hey! Over here! Come here you big beast!"

The monster notice him, I immediately rolled to the side when the monster almost smash  me with his feet. I look at Usuin and his not even doing anything, he was just letting the monster to him.

"Usuin, move!"

He didn't move, but I catch him say 'not yet'.
The monster run to him and when it almost at Usuin, Usuin jump to the side and the beast caught its feet to a vine and stumble down the cliff.

I breath heavily and stand up. And ran to Usuin, I slap him in the shoulder.

"Ouch! What has that for?"

"Don't ever do that again!"

He pouted and remove the dirt on his cloth, I grab my bow from the ground and look at the vine that's been tied up from the left tree to the right tree, atleast he  had a great plan.

"You took so long, I even thought you're dead already"

I glare at him and start walking.

"It's your fault you mackerel, who the hell made a woman distract a monster while you set a so perfect trap?"

He only laugh, this man is crazy. I even wonder why he is a soldier.

I walk back to my horse, it was lying on the ground as I feel touch its muscle.

"Its dead"

I know. He did a great job there, this is where he takes off. I pluck a couple of flowers and put it in his chest. I'm sorry dear horse, I close my eyes and pray for it's soul.

"Let's go"

We continue on our journey, Usuin and I are riding his horse. As much as I don't want to, I have no choice.

We stop when there is a two path ahead, there's no sign written on where it leads on.

"We should head right"

Usuin said, but I stop him.

"Wait!"

I jump down from the horse and ran to the left side of the two paths. It's a dirty blue piece of cloth, and a gold bold K letter was written.

"What's that?"

"The King's"

"How are you so sure?"

"K, stands for King"

I said in a duh tone.

"You're wrong, it might also stands for Kate, Karina, Kris or maybe Kiss!"

I glare at him and went back to his horse.

"Stop it, and well go this way"

Fortunately he agreed. The path ahead is so dark, thankful for the lamp light council Hiromi gave us. Usuin on the other side, except from the plan he made earlier, he didn't do good at all. How I wish I didn't reject Fusha's wish to join me.
