The next morning papa and dad called me downstairs. Downstairs I found my siblings around the table with dad and papa. "What's going on?," I asked, getting a little annoyed with the surprises that have been showing up. First we were moving, then my mother and Amy had us for a week, and now whatever this is.

"We are going to your grandmother's house for the rest of the week! She has recently gotten very sick and we need to take care of her," papa explained as I put my hand on my forehead and sighed. We were going to see Granny Mimi. Granny Mimi is papa's mother so she is human as well as papa. She would be a sweet old lady if you take out the crazy in her. Granny Mimi lives in Las Vegas which for the record is 2,060 miles away from us. That means 2,060 miles away from my new friends, 2,060 miles away from the somewhat familiar scenery, 2,060 miles away from any sanity.

"Oh! Thats-uh-nice," I exclaimed as I plopped down in the loveseat in the living room. At the kitchen table my siblings were trying to convince dad and papa that they could stay here and that we were mature enough. After getting shut down Ki started on about how we were 17 and we could handle ourselves.

"Sorry, it's just, I don't think it would be safe to leave you guys here for a full week! I would ask Jenny and Amy if you guys could stay with them but they are away for the week!," Dad told us as I sank down in the loveseat until I couldn't see anything except the cushion.

"Why can't Aunt Fira take care of Granny Mimi? She lives -like- two miles away from her?," I asked as papa sighed.

"Fira's wife is scared of your grandmother so we were the last choice," Papa answered my question. I almost burst out laughing when I heard dad whisper that 'he was scared of her too' when papa went to his bedroom. After I packed up my suitcase again I texted Candy, Aki, Ace, Aaron, Jay, and Jonah that my siblings and I weren't going to be at school for the rest of the week.

"Hey Ash!," Ki and Akiri greeted as they burst into my room. I put down my phone and crossed my arms across my chest.

"Is something wrong?," Nash asked as he walked in after my other two brothers as I rolled my eyes.

"Does anyone in this house knock anymore? Seriously!," I cried as I pointed at my open door. My brothers looked sheepishly at the door and shed a shy grin. "What do you want?," I asked as I cooled off.

"Oh! We wanted to see if you could persuade papa and dad into letting us stay here!," Miyah answered as she and Ada walked in. I took a deep breath and put my hand on my forehead.

"Why do you think I can persuade them when you guys can't?,"I asked as I sat down exhausted.

"Because you are the youngest," Ada recalled as I squinted my eyes.

"What about Nash?," I asked "He's my twin so he's the youngest too!". My siblings looked over Nash.

"Yeah, you're more persuasive," Akiri reasoned as I smiled slyly.

"Too bad her persuading won't work!," dad announced as he walked in, surprising all of my siblings.

"Dad!," My siblings cried in surprise as I grinned because of the fact that he was there for the whole conversation.

"Yeah- I tried to persuade your papa into having me stay with you guys! It didn't work!," Dad announced as all of my siblings sighed in disbelief. If dad couldn't persuade papa no one could.

"Well then you better get packing!," I announced as I shoved everyone out of my bedroom and slammed the door shut.

The next day we got in the car and drove to the airport. Afterwards the next four hours I sat next to Nash. In front of us Ki and Miyah sat in a row, Akiri and Ada sat in a row behind us, and papa and dad sat in the row in front of Ki and Miyah. Once we got to Grammy Mimi's house it was already 2:00 p.m. Granny Mimi's house was an old building on the outskirts of the famous city, Las Vegas. Her house is three stories high and each floor is trashed.
