In the line my friends, my siblings, and I all stood next to each other. From what I had heard no one else really knew what we were learning here.
"Alright! Listen up! Humans have guns! Humans have tanks! Humans have missiles! I know from experience that some Fear Freezers do not react well to these!," our sergeant told us, looking at me when he said it.
"If this is a pep talk you're doing a really bad job!," Nash told our sergeant. I stopped myself from bursting out laughing by thinking about how if we had a different sergeant Nash would probably be on cleaning duty for the next month for interrupting.
"This isn't a pep talk! As I was saying, humans have all of those but do you know what you have?," our sergeant asked us.
"If you say spirit I'm going to throw up all over you!," Ace mumbled as I giggled under my breath. I didn't know Ace had a sense of humor. He always seemed like a serious kind of guy.
"I wasn't going to say spirit! Can I continue without interruption now? Ok! What I was going to say was you guys have magical powers but the moment was ruined! Go try out your powers!," Our sergeant ordered us exhausted.
I decided that if we were being given free power training I was going to work on my teleporting. I could see Jester was using his invisible power. Nash walked up to me.
"What are you doing?,"he asked me. I looked at him oddly.
"Teleporting, what does it matter?," I asked as I teleported behind him and back.
"Ki, Akiri, Ada, Miyah, and I all agreed that you might want to work on controlling your nightmare! Jester probably should try too but we can't do anything when he loses control!," Nash told me.
"You know what? That sounds like loads of fun! Really, but I'd rather teleport if that's fine with you!," I told Nash as I teleported away before he could answer me.
I ended up behind Jester after I teleported.
"Don't even try to scare me! I know you're there!," he told me as he turned around. He was still half and half visible and invisible.
"I wasn't trying to scare you! I was trying to get away from my siblings!," I corrected him. Before he could say anything more I saw Ki walk this way and teleported to safety. As in safety I meant behind Ace where none of my siblings could see me.
"Um... Ash? What are you doing?," Ace asked me as I glared at him.
"What does it look like? I'm hiding! Now be quiet and pretend I'm not here!," I ordered him as he continued what he was doing. I watch Jester go invisible fully and I see his footprints going to Blake. He grabbed his hand and he jumped out of fright, before he realised it's Jester and started to talk to him angrily.
Jester went back to being invisible and appeared beside me.
"He's so easily scared!," Jester told me.
"Shh! I'm hiding! You're going to give me away!," I whispered to him as he eyed Ace.
"Don't look at me! She came over to me!," Ace told Jester as he disappeared and reappeared by Blake. He grabbed his hand when he was invisible, but as he did Blake turned invisible as well. He didn't have his uniform on either. As I watched I saw Blake appear again with Jester, who was smiling from ear to ear. He walked over to me and smiled.
"You wanna try, Ash?," he asked me, looking hopeful. "It's different from the suit, it feels different. At least that's what Blake said!," he told me.
"You know what! I'd take you up on that offer except Nash is coming right over with a thing of paint that can't become invisible so that'll defeat the purpose!," I pointed out as I ran. What I had said was true! Nash was coming over with a bucket of paint and I didn't think he wanted to paint a picture. I watched Jester glare at him and went invisible. Befor Nash could put paint on her, he grabbed him by his waist, became visible, and flew up really high, making him drop the paint. Then he just dropped him, making him teleport away.
