As they went out of view I heard my name being called from downstairs. In the kitchen the woman, man, two boys, and girl were all in the kitchen along with my other family members.
"Ash! Isn't it great! Your Aunt Jill and Uncle Jafar came to see us! They also brought your cousins, Ames, Beau, and Dilory!," papa cheerfully told me as I looked over more of my family. The last time I had seen them was at Aunt Fira and Aunt Kendra's wedding, five years ago. I had shoved a piece of cake in Dilorys face after the wedding and no one found out. Dilory's make-up had been ruined and she cried the rest of the day, unable to have anyone be able to make out what had happened. Nash, Ki, and Akiri had also had help from Miyah and Ada to trap Ames and Beau in a giant cowboy hat so they would shut up.
"Ahhh, so nice to see you again," I greeted them half hartley as Aunt Jill and Uncle Jafar returned my greeting blandly. Aunt Jill was papa's older sister. Papa was the youngest in his family. Fira was the middle child and Jill was the oldest. I didn't like any of them. Dilory always bragged about how rich Uncle Jafar was and about how much stuff she got. Ames and Beau always fought about what cowboy was the coolest, blaming each other for messing up when they tried to talk in unison, and cosently bragged about their fathers fame. Aunt Jill always wore the most expensive clothes and hated any children besides her own. Uncle Jafar was really rich and famous because of his job. The fame must've gotten into his head because he is so cocky he can't think about anything about himself.
"So, Jill, you never did say what you wanted!," Granny Mimi commented as she walked around the kitchen before sitting down. Granny Mimi had been cross with Jill ever since she didn't invite her to her wedding. Aunt Jill had never told Granny Mimi why she wasn't invited and frankly if I was Granny Mimi I would be relieved I wasn't invited.
"I wanted to talk to you, Fira, Liam, Kendra, and Vale! No children!," Aunt Jill stated clearly as she glared in our direction.
"All right! Children! Go in the living room for a bit!," Granny Mimi ordered us as my siblings and cousins dragged their feet into the living room.
For around ten minutes we just sat there glaring at each other before Dilory broke the silence.
"I still remember what you did Ashley!," Dilory stated profoundly as Nash snorted as he recalled the memory of her in tears because of her make-up.
"Do you expect me to give you an award? Oh my gosh! You remember the most amusing wedding I have ever been to!," I applaud sarcastically with the most amused smirk on my face. Dilory gasped surprised as Ames and Beau barred their teeth like a wolf.
"Don't think just because we're going to be famous cowboys of the midwest means we would like getting trapped in an oversized cowboy hat!," The twin boys growled in perfect sync. By the time the three finished trying to put shame on us my siblings and I had already burst out laughing at the memories.
"Stop laughing!," Dilory practically shouted as we calmed ourselves down.
"You see! That's what happens when you don't know how to hold your tongue!," Ki stated quite proudly as he crossed his arms across his chest.
"You are just jealous!," Dilory tried to convince herself more than she tried to convince us. I rolled my eyes and walked to the stairs.
"Where are you going?," The twin boys asked as I sighed and turned around again.
"I am leaving because I have more important things to do than argue with three spoiled brats who are all expert drama queens!," I stated proudly as I went to papa's old room with my siblings following me. In the room I sat on the bed and pulled out my phone.
