Niall's POV
"Niall?" I heard Harry call through the door. I groaned and rolled over in the bed, pressing a pillow over my ear. "Niall, you haven't came out of this room all day. And Ari hasn't even come to talk to you. Are you two in a fight?"
"Mind your own business!" I yelled back. So Arianna hadn't told the others... I couldn't believe that I had actually lashed out at her. She was right, I was just taking out my anger with Liam out on her.
"Niall, it is my room," Harry let out a sigh. I rolled my eyes and jumped out of the bed. I rubbed my face, wet from crying, and opened the door, pushing right past Harry and practically straight into my own flat.
That night, when I was fixing myself dinner, I heard a very quiet knock at the door. I froze, not knowing what to do.
"Niall? I'm sorry," Arianna's beautiful voice came through the door. It sounded raw, as if she had been crying, a lot. I was compelled to open the door, but instead I just stood there without moving, like the idiot I am.
"I'm sorry," I heard her quietly say, after a good five minutes of silence. Following it were quiet sobs, getting quieter by the second. I ran a hand through my hair.
"I am too."
Harry's POV
"Harry, you want to go hang out at your flat?" Violet Gingers, my fake girlfriend, asked me. I let out a quiet and subtle sigh out through my teeth. I missed Ash, even though I saw her every time we had a concert.
For some reason, management didn't approve of our relationship, and they also decided I needed a girlfriend. Violet was also a well-known celebrity, and her management was also looking for a boyfriend for her. Since she was also close to me in age, she was the perfect option for management.
But it seemed like Violet didn't realize it was just a publicity stunt. She made no effort to hide the jealousy in her eyes every time I mentioned Ash in a conversation. She also always wanted to hang out with me all the time, even when the cameras of the paparazzi weren't trained on us, and was overly clingy. This whole fake relationship with her made it close to impossible to see Ash outside of work.
"Harry?" Violet turned to face me, making us practically nose to nose.
"Maybe some other time," I gave her a weak smile. She frowned, and turned to look to the side.
"Paparazzi," she harshly whispered, and roughly slammed her lips onto mine. She then walked away, leaving me alone. I looked to where she was looking before, and there was no paparazzi. I shook my head and started to walk back to my flat. The park we were at wasn't far, so I had originally walked there anyways.
By the time I got home, it was almost time for me to sleep anyways, so I ate a quick dinner of microwaved macaroni and cheese and changed into more comfortable clothes. Though I was tired, it took me a while to fall asleep. All I could think of was Ash.
"Harry, come look at all the cute fish!" Ash called as she sat down on the pier to peer closely at the sea. I chuckled and walked over to join her.
