So sorry for the long wait, things came up, I got a bit busy, I didn't have time to write, but I am super sorry I haven't updated in so long! Ugh I feel bad omg but anyways... I don't have much time to write a long author's note so I'll keep it short n sweet.

This is dedicated to karren12 for fanning me a while back... Thanks for that!

Um... So this takes place a little while after Haunting Memories ended, the prologue was kind of a blast from the past, so yeah. IT MADE ME SO SAD TO WRITE THIS OMG...

Stay qwertyuiop my asdfghjkl; fudgekins XD

Liam’s POV

“Liam, we’re going Danielle’s house,” a chirpy voice announced. I groaned.

“Arianna, do I have to?” I asked. Arianna and Niall were standing at my door, and the pushed past me to go inside.

“Of course. Wouldn’t want to miss out of seeing your crush, would you?” she taunted. I sighed. Danielle was pretty and nice and all, but no way did I fancy her.

“I don’t have a crush or whatever on her.”

“Stop being such a sourpuss,” she pouted.

“Arianna–”

“Don’t Arianna me! You and Dani clearly like each other, so stop pushing her away,” she yelled. I cringed. We had this argument every time she asked me to come with her to Danielle’s. I always ended up going with her anyways.

“Liam, just agree already. You know you’re going to in the end anyways,” Niall sighed.

“No,” I stubbornly shook my head.

“Why not?” he asked. I groaned and rubbed my face. “Is it because of Maddy?” I nodded. Of course it was. “Mate, you need to get over her. It’s been six months!” he exclaimed.

“Seven and a half,” I corrected. Seven and half months since Maddy died. Seven and a half months since my suicide attempt. Seven months since I started cutting. Six months since I stopped. One month since I’ve started thinking deeply about it again.

Has that much time really gone by?

“You need to stop obsessing over her. I know you loved her, but she’s fucking dead! You need to move on. I’m tired of seeing you mope around all day. Just follow Ari’s advice, make friends with Danielle, and who knows? Maybe she’ll help you move on!” Niall screamed. I didn’t think he would ever get that mad at anyone.

But what he said angered me. Who does he think he is? He doesn’t get it. He doesn’t understand.

“Look, you don’t understand, okay? What if Arianna died? Do you think you could move on? Do you?” I yelled back, and he flinched.

“Sorry,” he mumbled. “Let’s just go, okay?” he turned to Arianna. She nodded and they left my flat. I smiled a tiny smile. Finally, I had won the argument.

But I felt kind of bad for yelling at Niall like that. I couldn’t forget the hurt expression obscuring his usually clear blue eyes as he turned away.

He had it coming, though. Right? I sighed, running a hand through my hair. He didn’t understand. It wasn’t okay for me to move on.

Our friendship was falling apart in front of our own eyes.

My gaze flickered down to my arms. Most of the scars were long gone, and the rest were too faded to see. Unless you were looking for them.
