"Hey."I tell Ruby as I get to the tree.
"Do you want to be with him?"
"I know I shouldn't, but I want him back." I say
"Okay then."
"What do you mean okay then?"
"Well that's how you feel so no one should tell you other wise. You like him and want him and that's fine."
"Okay."

"Mel come here." Alondra calls for me when we start to walk to the group.
We all stand really close to the wall.
"What are we doing?" I ask
" I asked Will to ask Dana something." Jessica says
We all stay quiet and listen.
"Hey." Will says
"So I need to ask you a question."
"Okay."
"Do you want to be with Melody?"
He gets quiet.
"It doesn't matter." He says and then they walk past us.
Me and him make eye contact. Will gives us an apologetic look. I smile at him and he smiles back. I'm glad that we're still friends. I hope it's the same with the other guys.
"We'll find out what he thinks soon. Wait come on Will just texted to meet him by the cafeteria. The guys are going to talk to him." Jessica says
We all go to the cafeteria and see the guys. We hide and try to listen to their conversation.
"Hey so how are you doing since the break up?" Dalton asks
"Yeah you were pretty mad about it after it happened." Will says
"Guys seriously I'm fine." Dana says
"Are you really?" Will asks
"Why are you guys asking me all these question, bottom line is she obviously doesn't want me back since she broke up with me." He Says
"But you never know maybe she likes you." Dalton says
"I doubt that." He says.
The bell rings and we all leave.

"So you do want to get back together?" Eden Ann asks
"Yeah. What do you guys think?" I ask
"I think that you should do what you feel like." Cameron says
"Maybe things will be different." Mariana says
"Hopefully."
The bell rings and me and Jessica go to P.E
Today we were going to work out with the class that Dana is in. After me and Jessica dressed out we went inside the gym.
I see Dana and he smiles at me. I smile back. Jessica nudges me and we laugh.
All of a sudden we see him walking towards us.
"Oh my god what is he doing?"Jessica asks
"I don't know." I say
He stands in front of us.
"Hey Jess, Will told you about the party tonight right?" He asks
I stand there and catch him looking at me. I blush and look down.
"Yeah what time should me and him be there?"
"Maybe around 7 or something so you guys could help me set up everything and hide the valuable shit."
"Okay."
He looks at me.
"You could come if you want to too,Melody." He says
"Yeah maybe I will." I say and slightly smile
"Okay, cool." He says and smiles.
The teachers blow the whistle and we go to our roll call spots.

"I don't know, should I?"
"Yes!" They tell me
"Okay then I will. I'll just have my dad pick me up tommorrow

I walk in with my friends and look around. Dana sees us and comes up to us.
"Hey guys!" He says with a beer in his hand.
"Where's the booze?" Destiny asks bluntly
"Over there in the kitchen. Some food's in there too?" He says
They all start to walk toward the kitchen. I was going to follow, but I felt someone grab my arm. I turn and see Dana is holding onto my arm.
"Glad you could make it." He says
I just smile at him them walk away.
