Chapter 60

"I just can't take it anymore. It's like it's happening all over again." I tell Destiny over the phone.

"Are you gonna break up with him?" She asks.

"I don't know, but I do know I don't want to feel how I did before."

"I guess you know what you have to do."

"I guess so. I fell bad."

"Why? He's the one who's ruining it."

"I know I just I don't know." I say

I start to get a call from Ruby.

"Ruby is calling. I'm going to add her to the call."

"Mmk."

I add Ruby to the call.

"Hey." Me and Destiny say.

"We have a problem." She says

"What?" I ask.

"I might've told Dana about you thinking about breaking up with him."

"Ruby! I wanted to this on my own, I wanted him to fix things on his own." I tell her.

"I'm sorry." She says.

"I have to I-. I have to do it now. He should've fixed things on his own. I- I have to do it." I say freaking out.

"Melody your moving today you're just mad don't-" Ruby starts to say.

"I have to okay?!" I say and hang up.

I run down the stairs and out the door. I go to his house and knock at the door. There were a lot of cars. He was having a party. He didn't even invite me. I walk in and look around for him. He's at the top of the stairs.

"Dana!" I call to him as I walk up.

He sees me and turns the other way. I find the guys.

"Melody?! I'm so sorry I told him not to."

"Go tell him I need to talk to him." I tell them.

"I'll go." Dalton says

"So today's the moving day huh?" Gabe asks.

I give him a look.

"Not the time? Okay." He says and sips his drink.

"I'm sorry I'm just stressed." I say.

"No it's understandable." He says

"You're still going to school here right?" Cole asks.

"Yeah. I'm going to use my aunt's address." I answer.

Dalton comes back.

"He doesn't want to come. He knows what you're going to do." He tells me.

I sigh and run my hand through my hair. I see Cole leave the group.

"I'm sorry he's acting like this." Will says.

"It's fine." I say feeling frustrated.

He gives me a hug. I pull away and smile at him.

I feel someone bump into me. I turn around and it's Dana. Cole has him by the arm. Dana has his head down.

"Look at her damn it." Cole tells him.

Dana looks up at me. He tries to get away.

"Dana!" I yell at him.

Cole makes him face me.

"I can't do this again! I am too frustrated to deal with you're bullshit again! I'm sorry." I tell him.

I didn't realize, but everyone was paying attention. The house was filled with people's snickers and "oohhs".

"I have to go." I tell the guys and get out of his house as fast as I could.

I run to Ruby's house. I knock on her door feeling tears in my eyes but trying to hold them in. She opens it and crosses her arms.

"Ruby-"

"Sorry people who are mean to me can't come in my house." She says.

"Ruby I-" I say and then start to cry.

"No no don't cry." She tells me and hugs me.

We go into her house.

"What happened?" She asks.

"I broke up with him." I say.

"Isn't that what you wanted?"

"I really really liked him I said I loved him."

"Then why did you break up with him?" She asks.

"Because he doesn't feel the same." I say and start to cry more.

She hugs me tight.

"I am so sorry." She tells me and rubs my back.
