How sweet, Oh how wonderful your eyes shine
You, who hold me with your smile so bright
Envelop me with your arms like a twine,
Sweep me off my feet, fill me with delight
With our hands intertwined alone,
I could sense your admiration for me
You know in these moments, my heart is your throne
Forevermore, that fact fills me truly with glee
Your voice brings in the sun, shining with you
Making me forget the things that had me down
You are my star and that much is true
With you, my lips are never in a frown
Now that my dream of you has come to an end,
It is time to open my eyes and pretend
