Hot oil splashes
Skin bubbles up
You're still blind to the things I do
Sleepless nights and threats
Take away everything I breathe for
Yet, I'm still holding on to you
Head aches and throat closes up
Needles through my heart as I see you
Is it selfish for me to wish you'd grovel?
Is it selfish for me to wish you begged me to forgive you?
Is it selfish to want the old you back to me?
Hot oil splashes away from me
I now know better than to throw things in it
I now know you've forgotten the scars I got just for you
