The next few days for Harry and Draco were great. Potions class had never been better and Sara had started seeing a few students and working through trying to arrange classes and lessons. Ron and Hermione were always with Harry and Draco. Life was better than any of them could have remembered. Finally the first Hogsmeade weekend came and that Saturday morning Harry and Draco wanted to go with Ron and Hermione to Hogsmeade for the day. After breakfast was over, Harry went to the head table to ask permission.

“May I go to Hogsmeade today? Please?” Harry asked sweetly with a smile. Albus eyed him skeptically.

“I’m not sure it’s a good idea, Harry.”

“But all the other students are going. We’ll be fine. You know there are orders that we aren’t to be touched by anyone. We’ll be safe. Please?” Harry pleaded. Albus shook his head.

“I’m just worried is all. I won’t be there with you and Severus and Sara are on duty at the school. There’s no one to watch you while you are there.”

“I am sixteen! I’ll be with Draco, Ron and Hermione. We just need a break. What could possibly happen?” Harry asked. Albus looked over his glasses at Harry.

“Harry….” Albus was just frustrated and just shook his head. It was useless to argue with a teenager. “Fine. Go. And be careful. And just…..” Harry gave him the look. “Be careful, Harry.”

Harry grinned widely. “Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!” Harry leaned over the table to kiss his cheek and ran down to the table where the other three were sitting.

“Yes! We can go. This will be great,” Harry was excited.

“Let’s get out of here, then,” Draco said and they all rose and left the building. Harry took a quick glance back to Dumbledore and smiled. Albus shook his head at him.

The four walked down the lawn talking and chatting of Sara and Severus, upcoming Quidditch, and other miscellaneous things. They entered Hogsmeade and went first to Honeydukes to buy sweets and treats to take back to the school. Hermione and Draco wanted to stop by the bookshop, so they all went in.

“Books. Everywhere. Books,” Ron complained. “Like I don’t see enough books at school.”

Harry was looking over the titles of the books when he felt it. A slight tingle in his scar. He ran his finger over it gently and thought for a moment and tried to sense anything. There was something, but it was very faint, so he just shrugged it off.

“What is it? Scar hurting?” Ron asked.

“Nah. Just tingling a bit. Maybe Voldemort stubbed his toe or something,” Harry joked. Ron laughed.

Draco and Hermione each bought a few books and were sharing the titles with each other as they walked down the walkway. Ron was stuffing his face with chocolate and Harry walked silently in thought. There was something not right and he sensed it. Harry kept silent and watchful as always. Harry was ahead of the others for a few steps. Harry stopped suddenly and Draco and Hermione bumped into him.

“Why did you do that, you idiot?” Draco said as he leaned over to pick up the book. Harry never moved or responded.

“Harry, what is it?” Hermione asked.

“Harry?” Ron asked.

Harry stared straight ahead unblinking.

“Harry!” Draco said turning him around. Harry swallowed and his face was set like stone.

“What the hell is wrong with you?” Ron asked. Harry shook his head and looked at the three of them. Harry took a deep breath.

“Do you all three trust me?” Harry asked the loaded question.
