Steven started to walk down, holding a small Loaded dart gun. As predicted, Lazari Didn't make it that far. However, there were shadows all along the wall. So if he did shoot her and she did end up making it to a shadow in time, she would still be able to make it.
"if you wish to leave your room, you must ask.
"Lazari didn't answer, and all she did was give a loud, angered roar, flaring her wing up at him.
"Don't Sass Me, That's enough! Lazari! I don't want to use force." And with that said, Lazari was already in a shadow going from shadow to shadow as Steven Flicked the flashlight in each shadow. Steven gave a large sigh.
"Can I have a little help, please... Having some dragon troubles...." Steven exclaimed to the Young scientist. She is a shadow dragon. By the way."
"Rare... Uh, well. Shadow dragons like dragon fruit. Perhaps she sees you as a threat. Make a trail, and I'm sure she'll follow."
"I can understand why she sees me as a threat. I mean, I would If I was a child."
"Also, I'd recommend making her room bright but not too bright. but bright enough to where small shadows are there but not big enough for her to go into." The young scientist was about 5 foot 6in.
"Alright, ok. That I can do."
Steven walks down the hall back to his office to get some frozen dragon fruit cubes hoping that there are some. He knows that it's a healthy snack for his subjects and a Treat. He rummaged through his freezer and smiled when he realized that there were only about two trays full. After he puts some in a cup and walks back down, his footsteps falling loud thumps as he walks.
"I adjusted the lights in her room; there are minimal shadows in there" Steven then proceeds to do as the young gal told him. Leave a trail of dragon fruit that leads inside of her room. Most Shadow dragons can't resist that, and especially when they are young like that. "the shadows shouldn't be big enough for her to go through now."
"Is that it?"
The scientist asked. And before steven could even get another answer in, she took the vile back out and marked it on her clipboard before walking back away. The scent of the Frozen dragon fruit cubes would have already attracted her scent of smell. Lazari Slowly peaked her head out from the side of the shadow she was in. She didn't think much about where it was leading. She only cared that she wanted food, and she knew that if she didn't take this, she might not get this much food again. She was saving up her energy to escape once and for all. Steven had left her alone and was watching her on the camera in his office, giving her space as not to scare her too much while Kara was in the breakroom. It was where she seemed to hang out the most. She was sleeping friendly and sounded all covered in the blanket. Though with her age and how small she was, the couch pretty much ate her. After a while, Lazari Half-finished eating them. Most of them she just gathered up in her hands to keep with her for later. The door to the chamber behind her slammed shut behind her, and that's when it hit her. She fell for their trap. Though she was just afraid, Lazari Looked up and behind her. Only to notice Steven was standing there. Lazari gave a loud Pissed off grunt.
"Next time you need something, you ask. If you wish to have more dragon fruit, ask."
After saying that, Steven proceeded to go to Lucas's room and give him some Food. It wasn't dragon fruit by no means, and there wasn't and an endless supply of that, sadly. In a pissed-off, manner Lazari Slammed herself into the wall loud enough, and just in the time that Steven would still be with Lucas, tending to him and giving him his well-deserved dinner even if it wasn't much.
"Lazari, please stop that."
Lazari Continued to ignore Steven's pleads to stop bashing herself against the wall. Though in her pissed-off small mind, she didn't stop. She refused to stop. Therefore, steven had gone back to his office thinking to himself that the walls were quite durable. Steven was sitting in his chair at his desk in his office. Hours into his work and several cups of cold coffee, later steven moved his legs to adjust himself in his chair when he accidentally kicked Kara, not knowing that she was sleeping under the desk. She was so small she pretty much could fit and sleep just about anywhere. Steven jolted back when he heard the yelp and felt a hard lump under his desk. He made a questionable face and looked down under his desk.
