(DISCONTINUED) The Space Between

Day 19

 Steven followed Alex throughout the lab. They came up to a small room with a white tub in the middle and two silver locks on either side.

"This is the Electric bath it's used for punishment. Scolding hot water with eletric," Steven acknowledged. Alex walked to the cafe. "that is Lisa and Aaron."

"Wave hi, Aaron."

Aaron smiled and waved. She was more focused on devouring the food that was in front of her face. Steven waved slightly, smiling at Aaron. Alex had a stern look on her face.

"Shall we continue?" Steven asked, glancing at Alex.

Alex walked out. "This way," she showed him to his office

Steven took a quick walk around in his office. He checked out the things. The desk was made out of wood and stained with a finish. The walls were white, the ground was white tile. The room was scented with vanilla.

"Looks good."

"Whos he?" Aaron asked

"That is Steven; he is going to be working here."

"Your subjects are down the hall. Come find me if You have questions or Lisa" Alex pointed to the corridor that held the subjects for Steven.

"Alright." he looked at his subjects. Alex left Steven and went back to teach Kailyn. Alex walked down the hall past a few more double doors. And into a room where Kailyn was kept. Meanwhile, Steven was quite excited and happy with what he was given, and it was almost like he was enjoying what he used to do.

"Like Christmas morning."

"this way," she grabbed Kailyn's hand and walked her to the room

Kailyn followed Alex to the room, crying. Her body was frail.

Steven went and grabbed a syringe from the cabinet in his office. He was heading to his subjects to collect some blood. He pushed open the double doors and walked in. Smiling. And got a syringe and got some blood samples from all the subjects. Once he was done, he shut and locked the subject's cages. Walking back to his office and setting the vials on the table. Taking another one from the cabinet and muttering.

"Well... sometimes plans change."

Steven looked into Elizabeth's room; he popped the cork on the vial and walked in. Steven drank half of the vial, putting the cork back in. She was tightly balled up. Elizabeth looked exhausted. She looked up to meet stevens gaze. Her eyes were a Crystal sky blue.

"You can leave now," Steven said. Leaving the doorway unlocked.

Lillian strolled up behind Steven.

"She isn't useful to you. or me. She's useless. Why keep her here. such a waste of space." Steven was set to debate.

"Becuase Shes for Lisa Now go on back to work."

Elizabeth buried her head again, wrapping her tail around herself, recalling what he said in her vaunrible mindset.

"I'm sure Lisa has now use for her. I've gotten what I came for." Steven walked out of the building, walking back home. Leaving Elizabeth and Lillian. Meantime Kailyn had repeated what she did. She intended to hurt Alex. In the meantime, while Alex was in pain. She used the opportunity to run. Alex ran after Kailyn once she was capable of catching her breath. Kailyn ran into the cafe she continued heading for the exit door. Kailyn Stopped when she looked up at Lisa, who had been sitting there looking at her. While Kailyn was distracted, Alex froze the time for Kailyn.
