"Hey, Mom," Lazari said as she walked up to the kitchen table. The house was old and had a brick layout; the kitchen was a hardwood floor that the floor was stained with quite a lot of things, most being spilled drinks and food stains.
"yea?" Maria turned around to answer her twisting her head over her shoulder and looking over.
"What you doing?"
"Washing the dishes, what did you need?""Nothing just came to be annoying.
Lazari walked off and went up the stairs. She eagerly pulled her curtains back from her window, looking out at this old white building. At night screams echoed out. She never really knew why or where it was. Though she had heard about this organization that was taking kids. A young Dragon hybrid had gone missing over seven years ago. 'Lucas Drake' Was his name. His parents had cast him out to protect his sister. At least that's what She'd heard around the town. She wondered what was going on in that building, but she wasn't sure she wanted to find out.Later that night, she was sitting down at the table with her mom. They were talking about their days and what they had planned to do next. In just a few days was Lazari's birthday. Big ol' 7. While she mainly had cleaned her plate of the food. She had some Mashed potatoes, green beans, and chicken breast for dinner. It was a lot for her to eat, but she would need all the strength.
"So, how was your day?"
"It was ok," Lazari mentioned as she looked out the window. While the door handle jiggled against the locked door. Whoever was on the other side was struggling. But for how long.
"It could be your father trying to get the key in the lock. It has so many issues.."
"if you say so.." Lazari said, nervous as she went back to eating What she had on her plate. The clinking of her fork hitting the plate startled her.
Both Lazari and her mother stared at the door as if that was going to help any. The door made a loud thud as whoever it was had bashed themselves up against the door's wooden frame. They tried to stay as quiet as they could, thinking maybe they would go away. Lazari got up and slowly backed up just as the lock on the door broke off and made a loud thud when it hit the hardwood floor, and a tall figure walked in. He had a hood up over his head that was covering most of his face. He had on black ripped jeans, and his knees were all cut up. The stranger's boots were covered in what looked to be dried blood. The smell was pungent. He had a revolver in his hand that was fully loaded. It Had been fired off before. In the sheer panic and thought of it, Mira couldn't bring herself to grab her phone. It laid on the table, reading the time it lit up, 8:40 pm and again 8:43 pm. Lazari let out a scream as she ran out the backdoor. When she opened the back door, she was greeted by a blonde-haired girl. She had emerald green eyes and black boots. Freckles danced across her emotionless face. A smirk showed itself as she reached over and stabbed a needle into the side of Lazari's throat. Gunshots when off in the distance. The last thing she heard was the Screams of her mother. While a pool of blood ran onto the hardwood floors.
Now, She was in that building. The white building miles from her house, and there was that boy. He was chained up in a chamber. He was the last thing she saw before her vision went black, and her head fell to the side while her body went limp and lost its motion. On the wall was a message. 'You can't get rid of me; the lab will always exist with or without you.'
