You tripped in front of three boys. That was the most embarrassing thing you had ever done. And to top it off, they were complete strangers.

"Are you okay?", Miya asked. You looked up, into his emerald green orbs. A tint of pink spread across your cheeks. "I'm okay".

Luckily, they weren't laughing at you. They only let out soft chuckles and asked if you were okay.

To be honest, you were so embarrassed that you wanted to disappear.

You quickly handed Miya his pin and ran back home, swearing at yourself for the incident.

Miya on the other hand, just watched as you ran away. He smiled and snickered as he continued skateboarding with the other two.

Time skip

You just took a nice refreshing shower. You couldn't believe what happened earlier. You got out of the shower, and decided to tell Tia all about it.

You searched for it on the table. It wasn't there. "Huh. That's strange", you mumbled.

You searched in your bag. It wasn't in there either. Remembering what happened at the skate park, you head slapped yourself. You must've dropped it when you fell.

You left immediately after giving the pin Miya.

You went downstairs, still in your towel, and called your number using your house phone. Luckily, someone picked up your call.

"H-hello?"

"Is this the girl that was almost killed by a skateboarder?", the caller from behind the phone joked.

You sighed in relief. "Miya-san? You have my phone right?", you asked as he replied with a hum. "I'll meet you at XX Cafe at 8:00 pm. How does that sound?", he added.

"Okay, see you then!", you simply replied as you hung up. You were glad that it was Miya who got hold of your phone.

You ran back upstairs to dry yourself and change.

Time skip

Your wristwatch showed it was 8:09. " Sh!t, is this going to be a habit now?", you swore under your breath. You didn't want to be late so you grabbed your skateboard since it's been a while.

You made sure you locked the door and headed out.

AT THE CAFE ☕️

Miya's POV

As the store bell rang, i looked over to see the girl from earlier. She was wearing a beige hoodie with shorts. She came in with her skateboard in her hands. " She can skate?", I thought.

I put my hand up to grab her attention. She spotted me and walked towards me.

" I'm so glad you found my phone, miya- chan", she said with a bright smile all over her face.

" I think you dropped it when you fell. Here", i handed her the phone.

After that, we sat in an awkward silence. "Um. I didn't know you could skate, miss..?", i spoke. " oh. y/n l/n . I used to skate back then with my brother", " used to? What happened?", i asked.

" My brother got into an accident on his way back from graduation", she explained. "He was hanging out with his friends and told us he'll come and celebrate his graduation at home with us..but-", she stopped mid-sentence.

" I-I'm sorry for your loss.. I didn't mean to-", "no no it's fine. But i do miss my brother",she said.

Then she went silent. "I noticed a bruise on your leg. What happened", "Ice skating practice",she simply replied. It was awkward again. "I'm gonna go buy drinks. You want any?", she asked stood up as I shake my head sideways.

After she came back from buying her drink, we met outside the cafe. " So i guess this is goodbye, huh", i said. " Why? We can always keep in touch..w-well if you'd like", she smiled.

"Give me your phone", she put out her hand as i handed her my phone. As she put her number in her phone, she put it back in my pocket.

She was so close to me. I could smell her scent. The scent of sunshine. Is that even a thing? But it's what i felt when she leaned close to me to return my phone.

She put her skateboard on the floor and was about to leave. " um.. y/n- senpai", i called out as she turned around. " Let's skate together some time", i said.

She smiled. " call me",she said in a low tone as she skated away from me. Her tiny figure grtting smaller and smaller until she disappeared from my sight.

Heyy um.. i might not be able to post anything in afew days cuz' I'm busy with school.. My math teacher just had to pile up my homework.
