:: A FEW DAYS LATER 🌟

You came back from practice. You were pretty worn out. You got a few more bruises here and there while practicing jumps. For now, you wanted to relax.

You went to take a warm bath. Soaking yourself in the hot, relaxing water. "Mmh..this is just what i need", you breathed out.

After what seemed long enough, you got out.You blow-dried your hair and lied down on your bed to watch anime.

Half-way throughout the movie, your phone rang. You picked it up from your nightstand and answered the phone.

"Ha?! I don't want to", you heard a faint voice from the call. " Oh come on..it's no big dea- wait she picked up. Go talk to her- ow!", " You're going to pay for this", you heard mumbles. You were dumbfounded.

"H-hi,, y/n-san. It's me..miya. Would you like to um- join us skateboarding?", the boy asked. "Ah. Miya-chan.. i knew I recognised this voice before. Sure, I'd love to!", you replied.

" We're at the park from before..See you later!", miya said as he hung up.

"Cute", you thought as you put on some clothes, grabbing your skateboard and went to the skating park.

AT THE PARK

It's been around 10 minutes since you got there. You were just watching the boys skating while sitting on a bench nearby.

"That blue-haired guy is good..", you mumbled.

You were shy to skate in front of them since they were pros. You were nothing compared to them.

You snapped back to reality when miya called out your name as he took a seat next to you.

"Oh- hey",you said looking down. " Why are you sitting here alone? What's the point of coming here when you're just gonna sit around watching us skate?", he laughed as you did too.

"What's that guy's name again?",you asked as you pointed at the tall blue-haired latter.

"Oh, him? That's Langa. He just beat Adam on a beef the other day. Pretty cool, right?", he giggled.

" who the heck", you thought. Obviously you didn't know since it was your first time going there the other day.

"You guys are good. it's been a while. There will be a tendency for me to trip and embarrass myself all over", you looked at him as you let out a sigh.

" I'm sure you won't. Come on!", he got up as he put out his hand. You looked at him in the eyes. "what the-" you thought.

There's just no winning against him.

You joined hands and grabbed your skateboard as he dragged you toward the obstacles. You stood next to him, on your skateboard. You pushed yourself forward, fast enough to go up the miniramp.

As you got up high enough, you looked down to see miya, looking at you in amazement.

You giggled as you saw his eyes sparkling as the moonlight reflected his green eyes.

You got down from the ramp . "Wow y/n- san! I didn't know you were that good despite you not being used to it for a while!", Miya exclaimed.

" yeah! I thought you were an amateur at this. But that proved me wrong", Reki said. Langa who was beside him nodded in agreement.

" don't compliment me. That was nothing. You guys are probably better at this", you said with a smile, covering your face to hide away the pink tint that was all over your cheeks.

After a few hours of skating together, you returned to your homes around 10.00 pm.

"Y/n-san. Can i walk you home?", someone asked as you turned around. It was miya. ( obviously duh )

"Why? Are you gonna rob me the next time we meet?", you joked. "eh..i- uh-", " i'm kidding",you sighed.

"Come on", you gestured him to follow you.

He walked beside you as the atmosphere filled with awkward silence. That's when you decide to break it.

" So when did you become friends with those guys. Aren't they older than you?", you asked as you looked at the sky filled with shining stars.

"Not long ago actually.."

"We became friends when i lost to him on a beef", the boy said.

As you both walked, you came across a convenient store. " let's go in for a sec", " what. why ?", you didnt answer as you pulled his arm and dragged him into the store.

" so, what are you going to get?", he asked. "I'm getting myself some snacks", you replied as you kept your focus on the shelf of variety types of potato chips.

You grabbed a few and headed to the cashier. "Oh. Wait here", you said as you ran the the drinks aisle.

You came back with a bottle of matcha tea. " you like matcha tea?", he asked as you nodded.

You both got out of the store after you payed for your items. "Miya..i think here is fine. My place is right down there", and then you stayed quiet and continued talking again.

" Besides, I'm sure your parents are worried about you", you said with a soft smile. "So i guess this is goodbye...again?",miya let out a soft chuckle as you laughed along with him.

"When we're close enough. I think i can have you over for a movie...how's that sound?", "I'd love to get to know you better", you added.

" To think that we are friends just because you almost killed me that day..", "nobody dies when they get hit by a skateboard, y/n-san..", miya sighed as you chuckled nervously.

"You know.. i have a ice skating competition this Tuesday at 9:00 am. If you have time...", "sure, I'll be there".

As you both said your goodbyes, you left to go back home.
