"like wise" i smiled at nathan, a man i was meeting with for business, he shook my hand before shaking the boys hands right after, i fixed my suit as i took my seat on the chair, i looked around the room

the place looked familiar to me

"something wrong?" nathan asked as i looked over at him, i shook my head

"where's your father?" i asked nathan who hasn't taken his seat, nathan narrowed his eyes before shrugging his shoulders, i could tell he didn't want to talk about his father

"probably outside in the backyard" nathan said. i nodded getting up from my seat

"well then" i gave him a smile leaving him confused, i looked at the boys who got up after, we walked out the room and outside to where nathan said his dad could be at

and there he was, sitting on the chairs looking ahead of the view and right by him was a young women

i narrowed my eyes, this guy is 57 years old, the women looks like she's my age, it immediately disgusted me, this was one of the reason everyone had a problem with him, i started approaching him followed by the boys

soon he finally noticed us

"polibio?" he got up

"miller. did you get yourself another wife again?" i laughed shaking my head, he chuckled as i was now in front of him

"what are you doing here?" he asked

"business meetings with your son" i said looking down at the table by the chairs, there was multiple whisky, i bend down to pick one up, i bought the cup up to my lips taking a sip before looking back at him

"nathan is inside" he answered as i took another sip

"no i know" i said looking from him then to the young women who stood behind him, i tilted my head to get a better look of her, she looked scared, i put the cup back down on the table

"nathan is waiting for us" kairi said as he patted my shoulder before walking away with the boys going back inside the house

"tell him i'll be there in a bit" i told them before they were out of sight, i looked back at nathan's dad "do you always like going for young women's?" i question him

"it's a price" he said making me frown

"a what?" i almost yelled, i knew what he meant but the poor girl probably didn't, i might not know this young women but i can't ever imagine what will happened if that was julia

"look kid, when you have money that can afford you things, you get what you want, from left or right" he smirked almost making me want to puke in disgusted

i shook my head taking a last look a the young women, it's her problem not mines

i shrugged walking away from them and back inside the house to nathans office, the fact that nathan has to deal with his fathers mistakes and stuff

at this moment i didn't even want to attend this meeting anymore

my ear was against the door as i tired my best to hear what julia was saying through the phone, she laughed making me curious onto who she was talking to

"i'll see you tomorrow night then" she said. i frowned my eyes, i wanted to open the door and ask her who she was talking to but i didn't want to seem nosy so instead i just walked away to the kitchen

she might tell me who it was later

i grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge, i titled my head back to take a sip, i was stress right now

i needed to get my money back, i needed julia, i needed to get myself ready before the war we are gonna have

starting with julia

i was stuck in my thoughts i didn't realized i wasn't alone in the kitchen as my hands were in my head

"whats on you mind??" alejandro asked as i looked at him, he was setting on the long stall chair with a glass of wine in his hands, he also looked like he was stress and exhausted and needed some alone time

"nothing much" i sigh taking a seat next to him

he nodded before offering me his glass of wine, i looked down at it then at him, i laughed shaking my head

"take some rest ale" i got up helping him out right after

"ok ok" he laughed, he walked away as i followed behind, he went into his room as i went into mines where i surprisedly saw julia setting on my bed

i closed the door slowly as we made eye contacts

"are you going to sleep already?" she asked getting up from the bed and walking up to me, i shook my head as her hands came up to my face "you look tired" she said

i was confused not gonna lie

"i am tire" i said grabbing my towel followed by some clothes to sleep on "ima take a shower, yeah" i said as she nodded

i headed inside the shower, thoughts immediately went through my head as i showered, was this her trying to tell me something? or was she hiding something?

after my shower i finally came out, my wet hair dripped down my shoulders to my body, i changed into some clothes before coming out the bathroom

a smile came across my face as i saw julia fast asleep on my bed, i put down my rings and chains on the nightstand, i then grabbed the blanket and covered julia

i decided not to go to sleep just yet, i took out my phone and just scrolled, julia's phone started ringing right after, i got up and walked up to it

the contact had 'miles'

my jaw clenched, why was he calling her? i looked over at julia who was still asleep, i sigh as i powered off her phone
