Mattia pov

"tyler? so that's his name" i laughed throwing my head back as i pushed the girl that sat in my laps away from me, she narrowed her eyes getting up and walking away "why was he with her?" i asked kairi

"look mattia, this isn't good for you mafia, you chasing the same girl, no ones gonna take you serious" kairi said. he's right but i don't know what has gotten into me at this point, julia was the only one on my mind all day

"i'm not chasing her kai, let's just say i'm making sure she doesn't open her mouth about us" i said as kairi looked over at Alejandro and they both started laughing

"then why don't you kill her already" ale said as anger grew on me, not the fact of him wanting to kill her but the fact that they won't believe me

i don't love the girl

"she's useful" i shrugged

"in what ways mattia, admit it, you love the girl, we won't do nothing to her" kairi said as i got up slamming my fist against the counter looking at them

"for fuck sake, she isn't nothing to me, she can die for all i care for" i said about to walk away but ale opened his mouth making me stop on my tracks

"now be careful the way you use those words, especially to someone you care about" and with that i turned around to face him

"rosario, keep that mouth of yours shut" i said as he roll his eyes and took his seat again, i sigh turning back around and walking away, i loved the boys but sometimes they can just get me annoyed and piss to the point i will want to beat them

i get it, just because i follow Julia around, they tease me about it but it isn't what they think it is

Julia just has something on me, it's like we met before but i can't remember, i just want to get to know her and i know we got picked up in the wrong turns

that just following her is a way to get her attention

but she's  hard, and that's the thing that gets me, i like to play a game that i'll win, but at this point it's useless when she gives three fucks about me

instead i got in my car and drove to the gift shop

Julia pov

my doorbell rang, i got up to answer the door hoping tyler finally arrived but i was wrong, the same guy i tired to get away from stood there, he had a smile placed on his face

"now what?" i said as he rolled his eyes walking in, i narrowed my eyes closing the door behind me

"i just came to check on you" he said looking around his surroundings before looking back at me narrowing his eyes "do you live alone?" he asked

"were not friends mattia" i said. he laughed nodding

"that's why i came here to change that" he said walking up to the chair by the diner table and pulling it out so he can sit down

"mattia" i said walking up to the table "please leave"

"you haven't even gotten to know me" he said getting up and grabbing his coat that he placed down

"you're a killer, that's enough for me to not even be near you" i said as he laughed throwing his head back and walking up to me slowly

"i won't kill you" he smirked

"that's not what i'm scared about" i shrugged taking a seat on the chair "you don't scare me" i looked up at him as he narrowed his eyes at me

"it's about miles, isn't it" he said taking the seat across mines "i didn't think miles will think we have something going on, in all honesty i just want to get to know you" he said pulling something out

"can we just act like we never met" i said as he shot his head up to look at me

"for what? your not even safe here either way, remind you but miles is also like me" mattia said making my eyes wide and look at him like he's crazy

"miles is nothing compare to you" i said. mattia nodded sliding a small box across the table

"i get it, at least get to know me" mattia said as i looked down at the box, i picked it up, i slowly opened it, a nice necklace with a small diamond, i smiled but it faded when i looked back up at him

"tell me what you actually want" i said as he frowned

"what" he said in disbelief "i just want to know you more, you seem like the typical person to have a friend, and i know we got off the same table the wrong way so let's start over" he said, i nodded

he doesn't seem to bad, maybe i do need a new friend

"ok but that doesn't mean we'll ever be something" i said as he chuckled but laughed after "thanks to you i won't ever move on from miles" i said as he looked at me in confusion

"miles? you were in love with that kid, weren't you" he said as he got up and nodded "don't worry, friends" he said as i got up and nodded

"sure why not" i said "now stop stalking me" i said making him laugh softly and shake his head

"i never was" he shrugged looking down at the box with the necklace "that's for you, my treat" he smiled, those words reaped in my head, how do they always find their way to me

didn't think i'll say it but i felt safe around him
