i had my arms crossed up to my chest as mattia scrolled through his phone, he just finished arguing with julia and acts like nothing happened, i cleared my throat catching mattia's attention, he looked up at me as he narrowed his eyes

"i didn't think i'll say it but you need to get julia back, look at the way you act now" i pointed at him

mattia chuckled

"there's no difference, i'm back to the way i was before i met her. you and kairi were right, no one will take me serious" mattia spoke up. i laughed nodding my head

"now that's what i like to hear" i said taking out some whiskey and serving us two cups

"didn't you just say i needed julia??" mattia said confuse as i passed him a cup of whiskey, i narrowed my eyes before taking a sip of my drink and looking back at mattia who took a sip of his

"you didn't actually think i was being serious, did you" i laughed. alvaro then walked in the front door

kairi was upstairs in his room as robert and roshaun went to do some missions and meetings

"what are you guys doing?? didn't julia tell you?"alvaro said as he walked up to us and snatched both cups throwing them on the ground, i looked at him like he was crazy

"what the fuck" mattia said getting up

"your own fucking guard betrayed you and added a bomb in this fucking house and your setting here on your fucking ass??" alvaro snapped as i looked surprised

mattia was also surprised

"what did you say?" mattia question alvaro only making alvaro shrugged

"you heard me. i'm not gonna repeat myself" alvaro replied back. i laughed shaking my head, he's gonna get himself kill

"you have a smart mouth for that" mattia said. mattia walked passed alvaro and straight outside to his guards. i looked at alvaro shaking my head before following mattia

"which one of y'all motherfuckers decided to turn your backs on me??" mattia said as he took out his gun "fucking answer me" mattia yelled at them. alvaro walked out the house and made his way to the car and drove off

i took out my gun aiming it towards the guards

"you guys should start talking" i said as they raised their hands up in surrender

"sir, we never turned our backs on you" one guard spoke up, i narrowed my eyes as i saw the guard to the right with a mask trying to take some steps back

i looked at mattia who was distracted with the other guards

i chuckled as i turned to look back at the guard in the right, he made eye contact with me, although he had a mask on, i was still able to see half of his smirk

i frowned. it was definitely him

the guard on the right tilted his head to look at mattia then back at the house, and right after the guard looked down at his watch right on his wrist, i widen my eyes as the guard took down his mask and mouthed 'see you soon'

and within seconds he made a run for it making all of us look at the direction he was running, i immediately aimed my gun at his direction and just pulled the trigger multiple times. mattia and the rest of the guards did the same. i didn't have any more bullets making me throw my gun on the floor

but mattia got him straight in the back of his head, the gaurd fell down as he lost his balance

"get rid of him" mattia said to the other guards. they went to pick up the body and throw it away

i widen my eyes as i realized there was still a bomb in the house

i looked down at the floor as i almost tripped on something. it was the guards watch, he left it on purpose, i slowly bended down to pick it up, i turned it around

my eyes widen again, there was only 30 secs left. i looked at mattia who looked down at the watch as well

"we have to go" i said grabbing his hand and pulling him away, mattia shook his head pointing at the house

"kairi is still in there" mattia responded, i chuckled. kairi didn't know anything about the bomb

"kairi" i yelled hoping he heard me from out here

mattia yelled for kairi's name as well, i slowly took some steps back pulling mattia's arm

the guards stopped what they were doing and turned to us. they pulled out their phone and immediately tried to call kairi

i looked back down at the watch 5 secs, he wasn't gonna make it

i bit my bottom lip nervously. and it's almost as if kairi finally heard us. he walked out the house holding up a mini box in his hand. he had a wide soft smile on his face. he still had no clue

we called him over. he only stood there confused until he realized there was something going on only making him drop the mini box on the floor before he looked back at the house then at us. his smiled disappeared.. he didn't make it

before anything else happened. the house was now shattered into pieces, i closed my eyes shut holding back my tears

i opened my eyes only to see mattia over at the house looking down at kairi's body that was in the ground

i made my way over by mattia

i slowly bend down to make sure he was alive or at least ok. and after, one tear, one single tear fell down my eye as kairi was no longer with us. i looked up at mattia, i slowly shook my head as mattia widen his eyes

i looked at the mini box kairi hold secs before he died. i picked it up and slowly opened it. it was the same bracelet mattia wanted for his birthday

i looked at mattia who hold back all his tears and finally spoke up again

"this. this is miles and michel fault. their dead to me"
