You opened the box to see that she got the pair of earrings that you've been wanting to get. "Are you serious Kiyo?"
She smiled at you "Of course I am."
You sat the box on your chest pulling Kiyoko down into a kiss. "I love you so much." You said in between kisses.
Kiyoko pulled away "I love you too." She kissed your forehead.
"You should've told me we were getting each other something because I would've bought you something."
"You probably would've forgotten."
You opened your mouth to say something then closed it. "I wouldn't forget if it was for you."
Kiyoko stared at you with a straight face. "Really? Do I need to remind you what happened two weeks ago?"
"Yes?"
"You forgot our date was on the same day as your game."
"I didn't know I had a game that day."
"You could've at least texted me to say that you weren't going to make it."
"Kiyo I'm sorry. I won't do it again."
She shifted a bit, "Promise?"
Your eyes softened at her childish behavior. "Promise."
"Good, now we should get to sleep. It's getting late."
You moved up from between her legs to next to her. "Good night."
"Night."
