Chapter 14

It was a rainy night, you and Kiyoko liked rainy nights. They always felt like scenes straight outta movies. At the moment you and Kiyoko were outside on the roof of your house. The rain poured down on you two, Kiyoko was leaning against you quietly humming. "Y/n."

"Yes?"

"Are you planning to do something for our six month anniversary?"

"That's a surprise Kiyo."

For the past week you and Sugawara have been meeting up so you guys can plan out where you want to take Kiyoko. Sugawara has told you that she likes to just go to secluded places where she can be alone or with someone she loves. A couple months ago him, Tanaka, and Ennoshita had built a treehouse for Daichi and Yui for their date. He only lets his friends and their dates go to that treehouse.

He's allowing you to use the treehouse after making sure no one else was going to use it.

"Are you saying that because you forgot?" Kiyoko asked you.

"No, I didn't forget."

"Sure you didn't."

"I promise I didn't forget. I wouldn't forget that date." You kissed the top of her head. "That date means a lot to me."

Kiyoko looked at you. "That's not the first time you said you didn't forget."

You sighed. "I really mean it Kiyo, I didn't forget." You held her closer. "You mean so much to me for me to end up forgetting."

"Anything you do makes my heart flutter like a middle schooler experiencing their first crush." You kept going. "I would give up everything just for you."

Kiyoko smiled and blushed hearing you talk about your feelings towards her. "Y/n," she cupped your face. "you sound like you're proposing to me."

You smiled as well and she pulled you into a kiss. At that moment you were aware of your surroundings. The rain was nothing more than just background noise. It felt like you could hear Kiyoko and your heartbeats syncing together. Her perfume mixed in with the rain, making her smell like flowers bathing in the rain. You pulled away with a smile, "We should go in before we get sick."

Kiyoko nodded and you two climbed back into your window being careful not to get water everywhere. Kiyoko pulled you into the bathroom for you two to take a shower.
