Chapter 21

You and Kiyoko were dropped off at the dance, you said bye to your dad as if you two didn't argue minutes ago. You grabbed Kiyoko's hand and the two of you walked into the school. Everyone was doing their own things so they weren't paying attention to you two. Which was great for you since you didn't necessarily like attention on you.

You and Kiyoko spotted Daichi, Asahi, and Sugawara talking together. Daichi had his arm wrapped around Yui's waist holding her close to him. "Hey boys." You said as you two walked over.

"Hey Y/n." Sugawara smiled at you.

"Oh you two must be their dates!" Yui exclaimed.

You shook your head. "We aren't, we're actually each other's dates." You held up the hand that was holding Kiyoko's. "But I've heard so much about you, Daichi wouldn't shut up about you."

Daichi and Yui both blushed. "Really?"

You nodded. "Mhm, it's really nice to meet you." You held your available hand out for her to shake.

She shook your hand. "It's nice to meet you too."

"I'm gonna go get some drinks do any of you want something?" Asahi asked.

"Water." You said.

"Punch." Kiyoko chimed in.

"Yui and I'll have punch too." Daichi spoke up.

"I'll come with you so you don't have to carry so much." Sugawara said.

Asahi nodded and the two walked off to go get the drinks. "So how long have you two been together?" Yui asked you and Kiyoko.

"Six months, but we met in our first year though." Kiyoko answered.

"Wow, who confessed first?"

You and Kiyoko exchanged looks, "Neither, Suga had got us together after figuring out we liked each other."

"Well Daichi helped too." You chimed in.

Yui looked at Daichi, "That would explain why when he asked me out it went so well."

Daichi had a blush on his face listening to his girlfriend say that. "You two are so cute." You smiled. "Kiyo and I'll go get our drinks from Suga and Asahi, you two have fun for the rest of the night. Oh and use a condom."

Yui and Daichi were both a blushing mess. You waved to them as you and Kiyoko went to find Suga and Asahi. "Y/n you can't be saying those things."

"But they can have kids, we can't so I gotta make sure my friend doesn't have a kid before he's out of high school."

"Yea but you shouldn't say that."

"I know, what are we gonna do after the dance?"

"We can walk around town." Kiyoko suggested. "Like when we first met."

"Why don't we do that now? I mean I don't want to go back home any time soon."

"What happened?"

"My dad and I got into argument before we came here."

"Oh, you know everything will be okay, you don't have to keep worrying about that. You know why she left but you're denying it."

"I know, it's hard to accept why she did it." You looked away. "Let's just leave this place now and walk around town."

"Okay."

The two of you left out the school just to walk around. You both took off your heels so you won't be in pain by the time you're done.
