after school you waited for kiyoko to leave practice as you were still at the treehouse setting everything up. you looked down at your phone seeing that it was time for kiyoko to be out. so you started running to the gym, playing softball really helped you get to the gym quicker than normal. once you got there you saw kiyoko waiting, but tanaka stayed by her side. it seemed like they were both looking for someone. they spotted you and waved you over.

"hey guys." you smiled at them.

"hey," tanaka spoke. "i'll be leaving now, saeko's here now." he started to walk off.

"wait," you called to him, he turned around. "thanks for staying here with kiyo."

he nodded, "you're welcome, anything for friends."

he walked off to saeko's car getting in and leaving. "you ready for our date?"

"did you bring me a change of clothes?"

"yea." you pulled out a change of clothes from the bag you were carrying. "before you change," you paused. "did my dad say anything about me during practice?"

kiyoko stood thinking. "he didn't."

"oh." you pressed your lips together and looked away. "you can change, i'll wait out here."

she took the clothes from you, worry written across her face. "okay." she walked away.

it was obvious she wanted to say something else, but knew she shouldn't. as it would only make things worse. you knew you shouldn't have asked that when you two were about to go on a date but you couldn't help yourself.

soon kiyoko came back in the outfit you gave her. "ready?" you asked.

she nodded and grabbed your hand. the two of you walked to the treehouse but kiyoko didn't know where you guys were going.

you soon got to the treehouse but before you went in, you put a blindfold on kiyoko before the treehouse came into view. "y/n if you make me bump into something i'm breaking up with you."

you laughed a little. "i won't bump you into anything, i promise."

"okay." she sounded a bit suspicious of you.

when the treehouse came into to view you smiled at little. you and kiyoko managed to get up the ladder after a bit of struggling. "are we off the ground?" kiyoko asked.

"maybe."

the two off you walked around to the opening and you took the blindfold off her. you waited til her eyes adjusted to the light, but the moment they did her eyes widen at the sight. "did you do this yourself?" she turned to you.

"sorta, suga helped me plan this out."

"he told you that i like being in secluded places?" she raised an eyebrow at you. "because i know you didn't know that."

you sheepishly smiled at her. "yea."

"okay, you could've asked me."

"i know but it would've given it away. i didn't want that to happen."

she smiled at you and kissed your cheek. your smile widen as you helped kiyoko sit down at the table.

the two of you enjoyed the rest of the night. you both forgot about when you asked if your dad said anything about you.
