Chapter 7

Elena pov

So many smells I haven't smelled in so long. My hair now smells like strawberries and cream while my body is freshly cleaned. I am no longer in that slutty black dress but in sweat pants and a loose black top. These will be okay to sleep in. Sam and Dean seem like genuine people. They're brothers that will do anything for each other. That's clear as day. When they were saving me, the way they saved each other. True brothers. Stefan and Damon are the same even though they had their differences. I feel so tired even though I was asleep for a while. "Can I come in?" I hear Dean's question on the other side of the door. I managed to walk back from the bathroom to the room I was originally in. I didn't want to call out to Sam or Dean for help, I just used the wall for support. "Yes" I speak louder than I needed to. I am sitting on my bed as Dean walks in and closes the door over but to leave a crack of it open. Dean sits on the edge of the bed which makes my instant reaction of flinching happen. Dean picks up on it, but who wouldn't? "I brought you some food," Dean hands me a box. I look into the box to see Chinese fried noodles and cut up beef. Food not scraps. Real meal, real food. I gradually start to eat the food Dean brought me with the fork he also brought, feeling embarrassed. "I'm going to call you 'Lena', so Lena tomorrow I have one of our friends Jody Mills coming over to see who the lucky girl is living with us Winchesters as well as a doctor. We just need to make sure you're all spick and spack okay" Dean's humour enlightens me. I'm going to be okay and safe with Dean and Sam. I nod in return not wanting to speak. I like how he's already giving me a nickname, it makes me feel like a normal human girl.I put the box of food to the side of me as a wave of tiredness hit me. "You should get some sleep, see you in the morning Lena" Dean gets off my bed making me worry of being alone again. "Stay" a single word falls out of my mouth. Dean stops at my door and turns around. There is nowhere for Dean to sleep and I need the bed to myself. "I'll be right back" he says leaving the door open as he leaves.

I can't help but laugh as Dean comes back. In his hand is a green sleeping bag and a pillow. "Sleepover time" Dean says in a kiddish voice. He really is a child at heart. Sam was right, Dean acts all tough but really he is soft. I snuggle into the cosy bed and watch as Dean does the same but in the sleeping bag. "Good night Dean" I whisper to him, turning out the light. "Night Lena" he responds using his name for me. I turn over to face the wall, close my eyes with a safe and warm smile on my face. For the first time I feel safe.

Stone cold murder. There sits my brother in the middle of the room surrounded by dead bodies. "It's okay Jer we are going to get out of here" I hope knowing it's a lie. Jeremy is tied to a chair and I am tied to another one watching him in fear. "I love you Elena" He loves me. I know that but this won't be the last time I hear it. It can't be. Why did they have to capture my brother? Is this what I get for escaping this hell hole. Oh god they're going to kill him as my punishment. "Elena when you get out of this, find Dean and Sam Winchester okay, do you remember them?" I don't know what or who Jeremy is talking about. "Who are they Jer?" I confusedly ask. "They made you forget, shit. Look listen to me Elena" before Jeremy can finish his sentence there is a loud thud.

"Now little Gilbert, enough goodbyes have been said" This is it. I can hear it in his delved voice. I look at Jeremy with sorrowful eyes and before I can tell him how much I love him a silver blade blade goes straight through his heart. "JEREMY" I scream! The boss pulls the blade out and drops it on the floor like it's nothing. He walks over to me and looks me dead in the eyes and places his hand on my cheek. "You don't know Sam or Dean Winchester and if you ever dream of this speaking you won't remember it" Before I know it everything goes black.
