Chapter 21

I turn the engine on in the Impala and drive out on the road. "I like you, you have fire, we definitely can be friends" I like Charlie. She has a sweet vibe with lots of spunk. "I like you too and of course we can be friends. It's nice to have a girl around already. Don't be a stranger to me okay" I make terms. "Give me a call anytime" Charlie agrees. I honestly don't know where I'm driving to but driving this car is something that brings me lots of excitement. "Turn left on the next street then go straight then right'' Charlie directs. I have a feeling this involves food.

Okay this is the best food place I've been to so far. "So I've only been here for 20 minutes and I don't have to be blind to see there is something between you and Dean" shit she notices it too. "We kissed and it almost went further than that this morning. I'm not ready yet cause all I thought about when I was raped. I've liked Dean since I was 14 and when I forgot about him I felt like I was missing a part of myself" I fess up. Charlie gives me a smile and I smile back. "He's a good guy. Sam and Dean are like my brothers so I know it when I say how they will go to the end of the earth to protect the family" Charlie talks as if she's experienced the feeling. "They saved me once it's how we met, Dean pushed me out of the way and I broke my arm but hey" Wow okay interesting. "I met Sam and Dean through my parents. Dean would baby sit me sometimes too" I add. "Look Elena, I may have just met you and you don't have to listen to me. If you keep waiting for something you want you might wait too long and you may never get it. If you want to kill a demon, kill a demon. If you want to have sex with Dean, have sex with Dean. You get where I'm getting at" I can't help to laugh but Charlie is right. "Yeah I get it" I answer.

I spent the next few hours going over what Charlie had said to me. I'm sitting in my room wanting to know answers to my questions. The time I've spent in my room I had performed a spell to hide my scars but it only lasted for a few days.Charlie and the brothers had gone out but I wanted to stay back. "CASS' I shout hoping he will answer my call. I want to see my mum and dad again. I just want to know my path. "You called for me" I look up to Cass and smile. "Can you take me somewhere?" I question not revealing the place yet. "Where do you want to go?" he confusedly asks. "Heaven" one place can maybe change my mind on things. Cass has this blank look on his face. "Sam asked me about this same place for you, strange" So this plan was already in the making. "So can you take me or not?" I more bluntly ask. "I can". Cass holds onto my hand and I close my eyes.

A sandpit box? "This is the gateway to heaven, we shouldn't stay for too long" the rules get laid out. I nod in return and step in time with Cass into the gateway.

It's definitely the pearly white image I pictured it to be. Hell on the other hand I don't want to picture. "Can you take me to my family, please?" I request. I follow Cass as we walk past many doors to each and everyone's heaven. If there are so many doors here then how many go to hell? Is there a god? I stop at a white door. This is the door I need. "You shouldn't interfere as it can cause disruption in heaven" I open the door and walk in with Cass by my side.

They're happy. Bright blooming flowers in a green natured garden. Aunt Jenna has a red wine in her hand while my parents are sitting on a beach towel on the grass. "Jeremy come over here" Aunt Jenna shouts. Jeremy comes jogging over but stops. He looks straight at me. He waves at me. He can see me. "He can see you. Elena, did you do a spell?" Cass's voice is sharp and stern. "In Mystic Falls yes, is there a problem?" I wonder. I look at Cass and back at the scene. "No everything is fine, is there any other door you wish to enter?" I guess I would like to see what Stefan is up to with Lexi. Stefan is happy with Lexi so I should leave him alone. "Will I end up here with my family, or in hell or even just on my own somewhere?" this question I need to know. This is the main answer I need. "I don't see a reason why you wouldn't end up in this world" Now I know. I know what I needed to know. I turn to the exit and walk out not looking back.
