Chapter 15

At the boarding house Damon pov

She was right in my reech and I let her go. "I'm telling you all that is Elena, not some bullshit of a girl called Lydia" I shout for the second time. Caroline just doesn't want to admit it, simple as that. "Damon is right, I should've spoken up sooner but that is Elena." I look at Bonnie who has been hiding information for how long now? "I have been keeping up with Elena since she left and then there were deaths so that's why I left. Sam and Dean Winchester were working the cases and they found Elena. I just know she was kidnapped by a group of vampires and that's it. It's Elena's story to tell and by the looks of it she's scared to be here" Bonnie explains. "She also knows Stefan is dead, I may have slipped that as I thought it wasn't Elena" Matt adds on. I roll my eyes and hold back my temper. "I found her crying in the bathroom crying so that must've been about Stefan then" Caroline talks. I hit back my glass of Bourbon and look at one surprised Alaric. "We find her, bring her here and she talks, that's the plan" I announce in a sharp tone. "NO! Caroline and I will approach her first. She doesn't need you Damon storming up to her barking answers when you kissed her unexpectedly" Bonnie yells at me. "Fine but if it doesn't work your way then we do it my way. I'm going out" I storm off towards the front door and slam it behind me.

I know where Elena will be but I'll let Bon Bon and Caroline do their plan first. After all this time, Elena is with the douches I met and the Grill. I know who the Winchesters are as they're hunters. Caroline, Matt and Bonnie explained to me who Dean and Sam are but to me it's just competition to get my girl back. Elena will always be my girl. She will stay here, right?

Well, well, well. Dean Winchester sitting at the Mystic Grill bar. Maybe this night will get better after all.

Dean pov

Still on my first beer and sitting in the same spot. Women can really piss a guy off. I said things I shouldn't have said to Elena but it is only because I want to protect her. I can't lose her again. Being back in this town brings back memories from the past. Good ones and bad ones. The essence of how many supernatural beings are here makes me shiver. Shiver not in fear but in disgusts. Caroline as a vampire god that girl was bitchy enough. Damon that I haven't really had a conversation yet seems like an ass and a strong vampire but really he will just be a pain in my ass. Just like I thought. A real pain in the ass. "Dean Winchester, I'm Damon" I look over to the black haired smart ass of a vampire and nod. "You have something that belongs to me. Elena" I freeze up as Damon mentions Elena. He knows which means the others know. Shit. "She doesn't belong to anyone but if we're playing that game then she belongs with me and my brother" I answer firmly back.

"Elena will be having visitors tomorrow. Caroline and Bonnie are going to see their best friend and you Dean are going to allow Elena to stay in this town for good" the sound of Damon's voice just makes the itch to punch him grow even more. "Her choice not mine man," I get up from my seat and place the empty drink on the bench. "See you around Damon" I say walking towards the door leaving the stuck up vampire to be.

How could Elena be in love with a jerk like that?

Sitting in the Impala as I sit outside her house. Things have just gotten a lot harder now that her friends know the truth. This demon after her will make things worse if there are others involved. I place my laptop on my lap as I look up the deaths that have taken place. New updates pop up about weird behavior of the victims' loved ones. There is also in all photos a picture of the same dude. This must be the demon we're dealing with. I start to take notice of the behavior activity realise this isn't just any normal weird behavior it's possession. So definitely not a vampire but similar. I look closer into the bite marks to see that it's almost like a mosquito bite crossed a vampire bite. I search up mosquito bites and vampire bites in the law to only have one demon come up. Adze. I clink into the page to read the following information. This is what we are dealing with but how do we kill it? I read through more of the law to see that it can only be killed in it's human form and just like any other average vampire. Slice their head off and done. If the Adze is in their firefly form then the captor can get bitten and die and can't be killed in that form. So we are talking virus suits and head cutting off blades. Now we have to find the son a bitch and we can be on our way. I open the door of my car and get out. With my computer in my hand I walk up to the front door of the Gilbert house and pull out the old key I have of this house in my wallet.
