Xavier's pov

I slowly wiped her tear, while she just sat still on my lap. I cut her, such a fucked up move. I slowly moved her hair away from her face still waiting for her to say something. But she said nothing after that.

What we did next left me stunned. Her arms were wrapped around my neck, pulling myself to her. Hugging me tight. I didn't know what to do next, but quickly put my arms around her cool skin feeling at peace. Finally moving away. I get up and help her up.

Getting up I give her my hand to help her. "Hungry?" I ask she nodded "Let me just clean up" she said walking towards the bathroom. I followed and saw her looking at the cut with a sad smile. I sigh "Come here" I said making her sit on the counter. "How long have you trained?" She asked.

"Since I was twelve...but not bad kitten the lock on my neck was good" She smiled and nodded. "I have a lot of questions before I decide not to escape" she said with a smirk.

I smiled at this "Ask me anything" I say putting on a band aid.

"Where were you born?"

"Italy"

"Do you have siblings?"

"No I don't"

"When did you start running the mafia?"

"I was twenty, I'm twenty seven now"

"Favorite color?"

"Blue and green. Yours?"

"Black"

"It's done" she nodded before looking away biting her lip. "What are you thinking about?"

"Um.. ca_ can I meet my friends one of these days just to tell them where I am and also about you"

"Sure kitten,you will take guards with you. But you can go, what will you tell them about me?" I asked with a smirk.

"That your my boyfriend and I'm living with you. They will be really pissed but it will work."

"Whatever works, no let go eat. I want you to meet someone".

Adrianna's pov

We made our way to the table where Mia was sitting with the twins. Xavier gave both of them a kiss on the cheek before sitting next to me. It warmed my heart to see him with the kids. I loved it.

Moment later Roman walked in with an elderly lady walking slowly next to him. Everyone got up when she entered, I followed. "Mama" Xavier said before hugging the lady. She went and sat at the head of the table after meeting Mia. "Ma, I want you to meet Adrianna Lopez" he said standing next to me. "This is my aunt Grace"

Why was I so nervous?! "Hello ma'am" I said with my best smile. "So she is the one you were talking about on the phone" she said before telling me to step forward. He talks about me to his aunt? What?

"Girl, call me Ma. My boy loves you, that makes you family just like Mimi here." She said looking at mia who looked like a child on Christmas. "Okay Ma. " I say before hugging her .

Dinner was really good. Grace talked about living in Italy and how that was home. It was strange for me to have a family dinner after so long. I kind of missed it, just looking at everyone happy and listening to what they were saying. I couldn't take it, "Excuse me" I say getting up walking towards the closest bathroom.
Shutting the door I just stood there look at myself in the mirror.

Life has changed so much over night. I can't even leave now. No I don't want to leave. I wanted this, the family a place to really call home. And someone to share it with, that was Xavier.

He then knocked before opening the door "You okay kitten?" He asked studying my face. I just smile back looking at him.
