Xavier's pov
The need to get out of this shit hole was the most I had ever felt, after everything happened with Adrianna. So after all the planning over the four months we have finally framed the Russians for drugs and weapons in the same club they set me up in. I would loose a club in the process but at least the Russians would loose. They will think twice before doing something now. If everything went according to plan the Russians right hand man was being questioned right now.
And there was no way he was going to get out of this because they guns that where there were the same ones the police found in a shoot out. So he was fucking going to jail and I would be let out on false accusations.
It was already night time, while I waited for the plan to work. The phone rang, it was Roman "Its done boss" I grinned. Finally I wouldn be leaving some time this week. And then I will go to Adrianna. For the first time I realized what it was like to miss someone, the past two months had been hell but our time together was coming closer. Before that I had to make sure it was safe for her. I couldn't let anything happen to her again, I could never forgive myself. I waited so long, I could wait some more just for her .
Adrianna's pov
My wounds had been much better, I could do things on my own now. Lexi finally decided to go home so it was just Marge and me like always. Closing the door while holding the big pizza box in my hand I made my way to my kitchen island. That's when my phone starting ring. It was the chief "Good evening sir".
"Lopez how are you?"
"Much better sir, thank you"
"That's good. I have some news about De Luca." My heart skipped a beat was he okay? Did something happen? "What about him sir?"
"He is being let go, false accusations."
"How? What?"
"The money that was coming into his club was because of a third party. Also the drugs and weapons. It wasn't him, he didn't know"
"Oh, okay well.." I didn't know what to say, just shocked.
"He will leave in two days, come to see him off."
"Will do sir thank you. Good night"
What was going on? How? Then I remembered what Roman said to me that night 'We have our ways' they had power,but how much? I just shook head and went over to stuff my face with some pizza. Before going to sleep.
