Adrianna's pov

Today I wore a baggie pant with a hoodie trying to hide from him and everything thing that happened yesterday. I didn't put any effort into my look, loosing all interest stressing about what I was going do when I see him.

I was sitting in my car for the past ten minutes, preparing myself to not blush or give any expressionless with my face when I see him. It was going to be hard but I had to face him one way or another.

I sign and get out if my car holding onto my coffee cup, remembering I forgot todays newspaper. Shaking my head I sign my name  walk straight to his cell. Then I saw him. Reading the book I gave him yesterday. "Hi" I say looking down at my table. "Morning" he says putting the book down.

Sipping on my coffee I looked anywhere but him. He had just come back from his shower and his hair was damp giving him an even more attractive look. "You look different today, you sick?" He asked, I sign and finally look up at him haven't enough of the stress. "Um..ya ya just a flu" I said faking a cough. God this was so embarrassing.

"And you still came to work?" He asked with an eyebrow raised. "I don't really miss work, I don't take holidays". I said bitting my lip. It was true I don't remember the last time I took a leave. I just didn't know how I won't spend my day without work. It was sad but it's how things have always been.

He seemed to be thinking hard about something before speaking again "Do you like your job?" he said I was take a back. "What kind of a question is that?" I ask.
"A pretty simple question...so?"

Xavier's pov

Looking at her face I could see she didn't know what to say, or have to say. "Yes I do like it"

"So if you had choice there is nothing you won't do different?"  Again she was thinking to hard. Finally she took a deep breath and answered "A nurse" she said looking a bit hurt. "Wow I could totally see that" I say with honesty. She smilled and looked away. Something was different today, she didn't look me in the eye and kept biting her lip when I looked at her. It got annoying some times because she looked even more innocent which was a big turn on. She would even press her thighs together where she answered an question. "You and I are the same"

"How so?" She said.

"We never got to choose what we wanted.." she had a questioning look on her face so I continue "Do you think this is the life I choose for myself? Hell I don't think you were giving a choice either, or a strong woman like you with have been in med school now. But we accepted our path and made the best out of it, that's why you work so hard. That's why we don't take holidays. "

She just nodded and kept looking at me. "Unfortunately I agree" she said with a frown.
After that no one said a word, the day just  went on. Before she left she asked me "If you had a choice what would you become?"

I smik "That's an story for another time kitten" .
