Xavier's pov
I was so thrilled that aunt Grace was happy with Adrianna. It was amazing to have my family support us. But all through dinner Adrianna looked lost, like she was over thinking about some.
Looking at her again I saw that she was getting up and walking towards the closest bathroom. "Excuse me" I said quicker getting up and followed her.
Knocking on the door, I slow pushed it open to see her standing looking at herself in the mirror. "You okay kitten?" I ask studying her face. "It's been long" she said looking away.
"I can't remember the last time I had a family dinner like this" I sigh and walk towards her.
"This is you family now, nothing can change that. But it's okay to feel like this, I'm glad you told me. If you want to go up to the room we can". I said moving some hair away for her face.
"No I want to stay, just a little longer" she says with a smile. "Sure baby" I say kissing her forehead before moving away.
Adrianna pov
Getting back into the room I sat on the couch with a warm fuzzy feeling 'You are family now, nothing can changed that' I had also forgotten what it was like, I also blushed thinking about the kiss on my forehead. Today after long I thought about the happy memories I had back home. With my mom, brother and father.
Finally with a smile on my face I got up and walked town the closest to get something to wear for the night. Finds comfort silk pajamas I walk towards the bathroom to wash up and get changed. By the time I come back Xavier's was in the room walking around shirtless with a glass of whiskey in hand. Taking in his toned figure leads down to the defined v. I blush and looking away.
He chuckled "I'm all yours to look at kitten."
I look up and smile before grabbing a pillow and the thrown blanket. "Where do I sleeping, the guest room next to this one?" He chuckled again "Adrianna you think I will let you sleep in another room after waiting for months to be with you?"
"I can't share the bed with you, come on"
"Baby you and I both know that's not happening" he says with a smirk.
"Uggh this is not fair, I'll take the couch then" I said walk away and getting comforter on the couch. Some time passed and I heard him to into the bathroom for a shower. Finally ready for some sleep after the long and event full day I close my eyes ready for sleep.
Half way through my slumber I fell being lifted up in the air. Opening my eyes I see him carrying me to the bed. "What are you doing?" I asked getting annoying. "Getting ready for bed kitten." He did putting me on one side before walking over the other way. "Fine, have it your way" I say glaring at him before taking all the pillows and building a wall between us. He started laughing again.
"Good night kitten" I huff and turn away trying to get some sleep.
