Chapter 2- The Power Of A God

Last time in chapter 1...

"Look, I'm gonna cut straight to the chase, okay, okay. You're... drum rolls, please, badadada... quirkless!" the man excitedly revealed.

"Q-quirkless?" Midoriya asked hesitantly.

"Yes, quirkless. My goodness, did you not hear me the first time?" the man complained.

"Who exactly are you?" Midoriya asked.

"You seem to have a lot of questions, which are expected. I mean, it's not every day you get pulled into your mindscape by your reincarnation," the man said.

"Reincarnati- what! Just tell me who you are already!" Midoriya yelled.

"Okay, okay, calm down, little one. My name is Suguru Geto, and you are basically my reincarnation due to a failed body takeover when you were a newborn," the now identified Geto explained.

"Body takeover?" Midoriya asked, confused.

"Yes, body takeover. You see, when I was about to die, I used a forbidden sorcerer technique that would allow me to reincarnate at any point in time with all my abilities. But, as you can see, it didn't quite work out too well. The only conclusion I can come up with for this situation is the lack of curse energy I had at the time I was casting the technique," Geto explained.

"Umm... okay?" Midoriya responded, awkwardly. "Now let's backtrack to the point where you said I was quirkless. How do you know?"

"I know because my technique didn't exactly fail. While the body takeover didn't work, the part where I transferred my abilities did. So instead of having a useless quirk, you have my abilities. You could say you have... the power of a god," Geto finished coldly.

"I see. Could you elaborate more on the power of a god part? I need a better understanding," Midoriya asked.

"Sure, no problem! Well, you have curse energy, which is power manifested from negative emotions. Cursed energy can also be used to fuel your jujutsu sorcery. And before you ask, jujutsu sorcery are techniques you can use through the manipulation of your own curse energy. Since you are kinda my reincarnation, you inherited my curse techniques. But don't go trying to use curse energy; your body is not ready for it," Geto explained.

"That's interesting and a lot to take in," Midoriya responded.

Before Midoriya could ask any more questions, he noticed that his hand started to fade.

"What's happening to me!" Midoriya yelled out.

"Calm down, you're just waking up," Geto said.

"Oh. But then how can I talk to you? I still have loads of questions regarding my abilities," Midoriya asked.

"Don't worry. I attached some of my curse energy to that five-dollar bill. So if you want to talk to me, just grab it and think of coming here. Anyway, goodbye," Geto waved at the end.

Before Midoriya could respond, a piece of tape appeared on his mouth. Knowing where it came from, he looked up and glared at Geto before fading away.

"What an interesting kid," Geto said to himself.
