Chapter 15: Expect The Unexpected

"That boy with the black messy hair was so rude!" Mina exclaimed while clenching her fist.

"Yeah I met him at the entrance exam and he was scary." Uraraka said while holding her cheeks and resting her elbows on the couch.

"I agree with you, my classmates. If that's how NUA's students are here then that is very unacceptable!" Lida said while chopping his arm.

"But he's right." Bakugo said quiet but loud enough for the others around him to hear.

"What do you mean?" Kirishima asked.

"Yeah all we saw from him is talk." Kaminari said.

"You could say he is all bark no bite." Monoma added.

"You extras wouldn't understand. Just watch out for him before he gets the jump on you." Bakugo informed them.

The rest of class 1-A looked at Bakugo with concern and thought more about what he said trying to make sense out of it.

2 weeks later...

"Listen up, brats! We have a busy day and I don't want to hear any complaints." Endeavor announced.

"On today's schedule we will be joining class 1-A's combat training so you can get more experience working with different quirks." All Might explained.

"Get your hero costumes on and let's head over!" Endeavor yelled.

"And remember class go PLUS Ul-" All Might was about to strike a pose before he was interrupted.

"Plus Ultra, yes we already know." Class 1-S said in unison.

All Might was now sulking in a corner while Endeavor was yelling at him to leave.

With Class 1-A...

"What are we waiting for sensei?" Monoma asked in an irritated tone.

"Yeah you brought us here and we've been waiting for 10 minutes." Sero complained.

"It seems our guests are a little late. Let's give them 3 more minutes and if they don't show we will start." Aizawa said while looking at his watch.

Before any more complaints a door suddenly opened revealing 7 characters, 2 towering over the rest of the 5. Once they entered the feeling inside the room suddenly got tense everybody was quiet making it a little bit awkward.

"How dare you make us wait for you, you delinquents!" Monoma yelled, pointing at them.

"Sorry but we didn't really expect this so we were a little caught off guard." Shindo apologized.

"Why are they glaring at us like that?" Hijoshiki asked.

"Probably because of what Izuku said 2 weeks ago to them." Inasa pointed out.

"What did he say?" Todoroki surprisingly asked.

Class 1-A shifted their glares at Midoriya expecting him to answer but only found him talking to Inasa not once paying them any mind. Once Midoriya finished talking to Inasa he turned around and looked at Aizawa.

"When does this combat training start?" Midoriya asked.

"After we finish explaining to you guys how it works and generate our teams." Aizawa replied.

A couple minutes later Aizawa got all the students lined up so he could explain how the combat training worked.

"Listen up guys. For this combat training you will be put into a group of two and go against each other. Before starting your match you will have 5 minutes to come up with a strategy. The teams will be split into heroes vs villains, with the villains having to protect their bombs which they can place anywhere in the building and also try to get captured. Heroes will try to capture villains with handcuffs or touch the bomb to get a win but if they fail to do either of these things within the time limit then that is a win for villains. No life threatening or crippling attacks will be accepted. All Might will be calling out the teams which were randomly selected." Aizawa explained.

"Sir, shouldn't we know who our teammates are?" Lida questioned.

"If you're working as a hero sometimes you will be unexpectedly teamed up with someone you don't know but at the end of the day you still need to get the job done. That is what we are aiming for while doing this training exercise. We want to see how fast students can get information about their peers and the situation and then see how quickly they can solve it." Endeavor replied to Lida with his arms crossed.

"HAHAHA! Now that the boring part is over let's get to the teams!" All Might said with a booming voice.

"*Ahem* So there will be a total of 12 teams an-" All Might was promptly cut off.

"How could there be a total of 12 teams if there are only 23 students as of right now. That would be odd, making the 12th team the only team with one person." Momo pointed out.

"Would you guys please shut up and stop interrupting the teachers so they could explain. I want to get this over with so I can go and train by myself. Staying and training here will not do me any good as I am surrounded by a class with a bunch of weaklings." Midoriya said.

Before class-1A could argue back Midoriya closed his fist releasing just enough curse energy to make them get goosebumps.

"As I was saying there are a total of 12 teams and yes the 12th team being the only team with one person leaving team 11 without an opponent. But that will be fixed since we will generate one random student to join team 12. Now the first battle will be: Team 1, Denki Kaminari and Rikido Sato vs Team 2, Katsuki Bakugo and Jurota Shishida." All Might called out.
