Chapter 14- Power & Ranking

Chapter 14:

 "Welcome to the S Training Gym, which is a gym meant for this class without getting bothered by the other classes. You can invite anyone from a different class here, but they have to have this pass." All Might said while holding up a pass.

"I hope you guys caught all of that information because we are not repeating ourselves. We're going to be taking your quirk information." Endeavor explained with a stern tone.

"Yo, Shindo!" All Might called out.

"My quirk is Vibrate. It gives me the ability to generate vibrations or shockwaves on the things I touch, and if I focus hard enough, I can make shockwaves in the air. My weakness is if I overuse it or make it too fast or strong, my body will suffer aftershocks, but because of this, I have very high durability to attacks." Shindo explained confidently.

"Shoto Todoroki!" All Might called out next.

"My quirk is Half-Cold, Half-Hot. On my right side, I can produce ice, and on my left, I can produce fire. My weakness is that if I use my ice too much, it will slow down my mobility, and as for my fire side... well, I don't know much. I guess I get too hot. I don't use it often." Todoroki explained, sounding hesitant.

The students exchanged glances, finding Todoroki's explanation good, though his fire quirk's uncertainty struck them as odd. Midoriya also noticed the negative energy radiating from Endeavor after Todoroki's explanation.

"Inasa Yoarashi!" Endeavor called out, his voice commanding.

Yoarashi stood still not acknowledging anyones attempt to get his attention.

"Inasa Yoarashi!" Endeavor repeated, clearly irritated.

Midoriya, sensing the growing tension, turned to see Yoarashi intensely glaring at Endeavor. Confused by the sudden shift in Yoarashi's demeanor, Midoriya decided to intervene.

"I-Inasa! Are you okay?" Midoriya asked nervously with a weak smile.

"No... no, I'm not." Yoarashi replied, his eyes still fixed on Endeavor with fury.

Midoriya's inner monologue screamed in frustration. He had hoped Yoarashi would just say yes and end the awkward situation.

"Really? What's the problem, then?" Endeavor asked, raising an eyebrow.

Yoarashi blinked as if snapping out of a trance and looked around, the negative energy suddenly dissipating.

"Wait... Is it my turn?" Yoarashi asked, pointing to himself in confusion.

The other four students silently thought in unison: YES!

"Ha ha ha ha. Forgive me. Well, my quirk is called Whirlwind. It allows me to manipulate the air around me. My range is very far, but if I use too much power, I can lose control, or if I use a large amount at a constant rate, my mobility is limited." Yoarashi explained with his usual enthusiasm.

"Good. Now, Kureiji Hijoshiki!" Endeavor called out.

"My quirk is called Berserk. It allows me to fly, throw energy blasts, and increases my strength and senses as the battle progresses. My weakness is that if I use it for too long, I lose my sanity and attack anything in sight." Hijoshiki explained calmly.

"Interesting. Now, finally, Izuku Midoriya." All Might called out.

"My quirk is called Aura Manipulation. It's hard to explain, but I'll try my best. There are different types of aura—nature aura, power aura, emotional aura. I can manipulate those to my advantage and configure them in various ways. My weakness is that overusing it strains my body." Midoriya explained with a smirk, noticing the interest his explanation sparked in the other students.
