A year and a half later, everyone is where they were prior, standing in the same place Rain and Ben had their engagement party. Rain and Ben are standing up on the balcony, Mal, Evie, Jay and Carlos standing around them, Fairy Godmother is on standby with her wand.
"Hi," Rain says to the crowd bellow, cameras are all over, pointed at her "So... around two years ago, I told you I wouldn't become your queen until the barrier around the Isle was taken down. So, sorry for the long engagement!" She looks to a camera near Snow White and everyone laughs.
"Over the last year and a bit, there have been many negotiations and visits to the Isle, and finally, we're here to take down the barrier!" People cheer and clap and Rain smiles. She never thought she would have got here.
They had finally agreed on what to do with the Isle. The Villains were tested and took many rehabilitation courses, the ones that were ready to be put out into Auradon were given some money and funding for a life in Auradon. There was a charity created by Rapunzel for the funds to re-build the Isle and made space on Auradon for the new population.
Villains that were not ready to be free, villains like Mother Gothel, were put in a rehab type centre, with courses and therapy to help them develop their minds. It wasn't a prison, but it was a centre on the Isle where they could be visited by their children and could experience all the changes being made.
The Isle was also re-built and given more resources whilst negotiations were happening and that would continue to happen. Rain looked at it now, and realised how much brighter it looked.
Fairy Godmother hands over the wand to Rain and the VK's grab it as well, the five of them point it at the as they remember everything they've gone through.

"You will go. You will find Fairy Godmother and you will bring back the magic wand. Easy peasy."

"Welcome to Auradon prep. I'm Fairy Godmother, headmistress,"
"The Fairy Godmother?" Mal asks.
"As in 'Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo'?" Rain questions whilst also doing wand movements.
"Bibbidi-bobbidi. You know it."

"I think It's time that Bennyboo got himself a new girlfriend. Don't you think so Rain?"
"Then I need a love spell." Rain and Mal smirk at each other
"You two are terrifying," Carlos states whilst chucking Rain her book.

"Mirror, mirror, in my hand, who's the biggest jerk in the land?" the mirror shoes a picture of Chad.
"What? Come on!" He pushes her out the way and that's when Rain snaps and steps forward.
"Who gave you the right to be a horrible human being?!" Everyone looks at Rain as Carlos goes towards Evie "Just because our parents were evil, doesn't mean we are! You all just assumed that!"

"Us being friends makes me really happy. Not destroying things. I choose good, you guys." Rain puts her fist in the middle, "if none of you put your hands in this is gonna be really embarrassing and awkward," Jay chuckles and puts his fist in.
"I choose good, too,"
Then it's Evie "I choose good,"
"I choose Good," Mal puts her fist in
"So, just to be clear, we don't have to be worried about how really mad our parents will be? Because they're gonna be really, really mad." Carlos asks

"We're always gonna be the kids from the Isle," Evie addresses her friends "I tried to forget it. I tried to get Rain to forget it. I really tried, but those are our roots. And we all did what we had to do to survive. But it made us who we are. And we're never gonna be like anybody else here. And that's okay. That's okay,"

The barrier comes down and everyone cheers and claps as the VK's lean on each other for support, smiling at each other.
