A country of woes, a shaking system.
It is not of violence.
It is a country people flee through, not flee from.
He slouched in a chair on the patio, wearing sunglasses and a turban listening to a French radio.
Eventually he muttered, "The community blocked everything. What else is there to do but bite [down] and [try] not to cry."
