The details drift drunk in a fountain.
Seize lightning on a hill. A power in the present.
You tell me stone stood for nearly 5,000 years[?]
I imagine centuries appear like rays of thunder.
I'm tired. I drive quickly through 3 O'clock.
The land flattens out cars [that] are along the road. I keep driving.
People are walking, laughing, and talking.
Something spectacular is about to happen.
At the end of the road waves crash, gliding each higher. People burst through clouds.
Silence washes over the end of the day; the end of the world.
We walk back to [the] shadows [that] devour the last light.
