How does this couple have the power of [being] Mr. and Mrs.?
Out in the world lives a mate, especially since while arms can [be] tentacle- like.
After way several mates use [each other] over time, where [very bad habits] tend [to] develop.
Scientists know mothers live- but not fathers [and visa versa].
After [while] no male has been seen alive [from the result of their mates, women]. Only dead have been found.
At his last act, the small but mighty gives an arm and a life to the case [of his mate for and] of reproduction.
