Yulette slowly opened her eyes; she was laying on a couch, but who's couch was it? Where was she? It was official, Yulette knew she had been kidnapped.

She panicked, her breathing became uneasy as Yulette sat up; she felt like she was going to faint again, "Hey, hey, it's alright."

A woman stood before her; she had dark brown hair and bangs, she was also holding a teacup. Yulette didn't know who this person was, so there was only one thing that she could do: scream.

"You're okay! Your mom is okay as well!"

Those words made Yulette freeze. Why wouldn't her mother be okay? Yulette didn't understand a lot of English, but she knew quite a bit when it came it getting hurt.

"What?" Yulette spoke up, her voice cracked with those words. She just noticed that her voice was incredibly dry.

The woman sat next to Yulette and handed her the tea, "Your mother got in a car accident. She's fine but her car is destroyed,"

She stated in a concerned tone, "I saw her when I was driving to school. I met her at Melvald's before, so she asked me to take you home... but I was having my own situation at the moment."

Even though Yulette couldn't understand most of the words that came out of her mouth; she could tell this was a serious topic, "Who... who you?"

"I'm Joyce. Joyce Byers,"

That's when it clicked in Yulette's mind; she had seen Joyce somewhere before. She was Will Byers' mother, "I have to talk to my son, you can look around."

With that note, Joyce got up; leaving Yulette alone on the couch. She took a sip from the hot tea.

The tea washed away the lack of moisture in her throat; it felt nice. But, that didn't change the situation she was in; the worst part was, that she couldn't do anything.

She was weak.

Yulette got up from the couch and looked around the interesting house. It was a little messy in her eyes, but it was different.
